Are we at a stage in computing power yet, where we could create our own little universe inside a computer and test evolution?

I understand that no computer could rightly emulate an entire universe itself, the sheer scale of our universe makes obviously impossible. But how about one on a massively reduced scale?

Are we at a stage where we could start off with just a few single celled organisms and watch them develop and change naturally as they themselves see fit? Where we provide means of mutation, predators, prey, physical constants, reproduction, and adverse habitat conditions - and then see what happens? To see whether in this computer 'universe' evolution would occur?

I'm personally hopeful that we could, but any information from a professional would be fascinating.

Didn't Jesus tell us not to judge others to avoid being judged ourselves? I would recomend that Christians avoid thinking that others must answer to us. We are better advised to remember we ourselves will answer to God

Seems totally wrong how so many people are okay with the gays promoting their sickness into the world. Isn't it clear that two people with the same sex organs are not meant to perform sex with each other.

Christians are the dominant religion in America. A vast majority of this country's politicians are Christians. Weather it is constitutional or not, Christian faith has been and is continuing to try to force its dogma on the whole country through our laws. The Christian creation story is the only one people are trying to force into schools. Homosexuals cannot marry because Christianity says it is wrong. In many states, Atheists and Agnostics cannot run for public office. We have "in God we trust," on our money.

Yet what do I see on this board every day?

"Christians, why are we so persecuted!!????"
"Why do the Atheists want to oppress us??!!!"

I say to you now, Christians, that having people question your religion or even call you names is not "oppressing" you. What some people are doing to this country in the name of your religion is oppression.

Thoughts?

They always say something like April 1st, why I have no idea. I think they are worried about us having one to be honest. Then some other people say it would be useless. Lol, no Christian, Muslim, or Jewish celebrations are USEFUL.

I notice it's usually the christian complain about atheist. I find it hillarious that they keep make it look like atheist is the most worst thing in whole world. But yet I never heard of atheist talking bad about hindu or buddhism.

Doesn't anyone think this is probably because Buddhism and Hindu doesn't run around and shove their belif down other people throat like as christian? I find it funny that the christian just can't see this.

I answer a lot of questions in here and I find that there are a lot of Atheists that can't seem to accept that there are folks that believe that there is a Christ Jesus. For some unknown reason, known only to them they feel that they must mock Christians. I have come to the conclusion that what is really going on is that they understand that Christians have a fundamental belief, and are trying to say that they have such a belief, but if that is the case they believe not even in self. Atheists, please hear us, we know that your eyes are blind, and that your ears are deaf, to Jesus Christ, for this we are sorry, but we aren't in here belittling you. When you get a savings response it is in answer to your question. We will let you have your choice but we would like very much for you to understand that it is words that you use that make a mockery out of our choice, but you feel like it is your choice to violate our choice.

My neighbor, a devout Baptist was telling me Satan constantly gets into his head and tempts him. I asked him how does Satan have time to get in his head along with all the other billions of people on this planet. If Satan is capable of reading our thoughts and planting ideas, he must have a great computer system in hell, at least a few dozen Crays. My question is where in the bible does it say that Satan is capable of reading the minds of billions of people simutaneously and plant tempting thoughts?

(I wonder if Satanists can offer input as well)

I am really upset that we Christians are always being persecuted and having out rights taken away by these athiest losers. Why must the Christians of America ride the back seat of the bus of society whiel these people continue to destroy the constitution?

There are 2 reasons why I can not stand athiests: They are forcing their non-beliefs on the rest of society and they seem to want to shut down all the churches. Why can't athiests get a real life and actually make a significant contribution to society.

Oh, BTW: If athiests are so sure that there is no god, prove it. Do athiests have any proof?
