Why do some followers of certain faiths feel it necessary to condemn others before they ever educate themselves on other's belief structure. I know that many claim this or that to be the "One true faith" but how are they so sure? Is it simply because that's what they believe, or is it because that's what someone told them what to believe? I'm not trying to criticize any faith, I just wish to understand the mindset that brings about condemnation of others.

They seem to view the Baha'is as a threat.
It has been made perfectly clear that the Bah'is and the Muslims are very different.

Why do you think the UN is watching the Baha'is???

Imagine someone who lived their life as they wished and didnt give god a second thought, then when they found out they were dying, laying on their death bed unable to move because they were so weak, became a christian. Do u think they would go to heaven?

as in JeZeus ... jesus ?

Even the name jesus sounds remarkebly similar to ZEUS... Zeus was the the ruler of Mount Olympus and god of the sky and thunder. Zeus is pure myth by the way.

(Question2) Is there ANY remote possibility that the ancient myths of greece have made their way in to more recent works of myth such as the bible? or is the bible, all "gods word" which was written, edited, produced and distributed by man kind?

Thanks for any enlightening answers :-)

Welcome to the Church of Yahoo Answers!

What would be your perfect church service?

Lots of music? Long sermon? No sermon? Q & A period after? Communion? Pot luck lunch? Charismatic? Understated?

Is it more important in a service to commune with god (if you are a believer), or to commune with like-minded people?

.

how would you reply to God's question?? because by the every day calamity of an ongoing horror that goes on, you have to figure out theres gotta be a higher power thats watching over us !! What would you tell him, when the supernatural comes to life in front of you? have you made your time on the earth sufficiently valuable to justify the investment of your time..GOD's time?

Plenty of stuff in the Bible about killing your neighbour for looking sideways at your camel etc. Give me some of the dirt on the big book of lies and superstition.

Go down to where it says "Dvajastambham" and there is a picture of it. I want to know about the 2 things there, called dvajastambham and balipitham. It gives a brief description, but I'd like to understand it a bit better. Thanks.

Religious folk think morality is whatever a priest or book says it is. So if the Bible told them to go rape a bunch of women or stone some children to death, they'd think that's moral. Oh wait, try reading Deuteronomy and see if you don't find that very thing. Funny how few religious people have actually read the texts their religion is based upon.

There has been a few shows on TV showing that how many rabbies(JEws authorities), and religious authorities form other countries(like Mulahs) abusing their children without being reported for years. Their medias are controlled by their governement adn do not show any of those abuses. We keep hearing how awful the catholic priests are in North America, but no one is talking about those leaders in other part of world? Is our media trying to be over protected of other leaders because of the politically correctness. WHo is going to protect those innocent kids when in reality we only want to be careful not to hurt any leaders or other religious? Is not the Human RIghts laws made for every one around the world nad not just for our selves?Humans are sinful but jsut condamning and pointing at our own probelms is not enough to make this world a better place for our kids! The modernizaton of a coutnry building high rises/Malls is not enough when women and kids rights are not protected by their g

I believe that I have recieve a revelation from God the Father, He showed me that Daniel's two thousand and three hundred days, was written 200300 days. Please could someone who is a math expert, confirm or deny this vision. When I divided 200300 by 360 days (1 year) I got 556 years, 4 months and 19 days. am I incorrect on the math.

Each year around Christmas our country has a national debate on religious symbols in public places, court house lawns, public building, streets etc.

Right, are you with me so far?

We have this debate because one side says Jewish/Christian that they should be allowed to display their values and beliefs, and point to a long history and view points of the founding fathers etc.

The other side points to seperation of Church & State and a need to keep one's values & beliefs to themselves in the privacy of their own home or property. They are offended by these displayes.

My question is this: Why is there no outrage for Gay-Pride Parade's taking place on our public streets each year. Drag-Queens prancing around in lude sexual perverion in full view of children (as we just had). This offends me and it's all being done on "PUBLIC HELD" property. It's all constitutionally protected.

Baby Jesus vs. The Drag-Queens

explain to me the difference?

honest answers only please
