I'm doing a school project on the Quaker church and I was wondering if there were any Quakers out there who would like to answer some questions I have about your church.

Can an outsider participate in your Services? If so, to what extent?

and

Does your faith have any symbols? If so, which ones?

Thank you so much.

when I was 7 yrs , I felt big pain inside and cried seeing the blood from the neck of chicken. My grand mom was cutting the chickens neck alive.

Only after I learned evolution theory I understood why I felt pain seeing the chicken be killed.

according to the the evolution theory all living things has
common root. we are all brothers and sisters.

Like the late Carl Sagan said on television we all living things are relatives.

So how cant we love all living beings!!! That s exactly all great religions are teaching to us!!!

Christians can tell evolution is the god"s way how living things grow and develop.

Then there will be no conflict between evolutionists and creationists.

Am I naive?

Can I make you believe anything about my beliefs? No, one has to have the desire to know more about a concept. If you are adimant about your own beliefs, great. But don't down grade another for theirs, who's to say what you believe is true. One things for sure, in death all truth will be revealed. And hope what you believe is true, for your own sake.

Here is what God whispered to me: Political and social chaos has long been with us. So much has has threatened our anilhalation. Plagues, scheming of those seeking power and warfare. The human race has been resilient and has survived. The new factors in the equation of the balance of mankind and the rest of nature are the technological advances that have changed how political and social chaos can develop, and the advances in industry that have the potential to inflict serious environmental alterations. Threats of nuclear war, biological catastrophe, and climate change now bring into question as to how humanity can continue to survive. I think that with the growth of true threats to survival, there has been growth of human ingenuity as well. We are beginning a new crisis and must try and understand the horrible threat.

Is it just emptiness, no vaccum, no atoms. If you went there would you just fall forever or would you hit something at the bottom if so then what is beyond that. The Universe has to be infinate simply because there can never be nothing, even nothing is something.

Isn't it clearly obvious that the Church predates the New Testament? Did we know nothing for a few hundred years? Did the church disappear during that time? It seems more likely that scripture and tradition work together. Especially since it says so , in the scriptures.

They like to torture others by push their belif onto others and try to scare them by tell people they're going to hell.

Then in return, they get pick on by everyone and come on the forum when they know they'll get pick on and rip apart by everyone else.

Does that mean they're sadistic and maschoist?

One analogy that Adams put forward on the subject of religion was that of the "sentient puddle". This analogy is intended to refute the suggestion that the existence of God and His love for mankind would be proven by the fact that the world is perfectly designed for our needs. He compared such thinkers to an intelligent puddle of water. He said the puddle is pleased with itself and certain that the hole in the ground it occupies must have been designed specifically for it since it fits so well in it. The puddle looks up to the sun above and worships its divine benefactor. The fate of the puddle is to exist under the sun until it has entirely evaporated

"There is no reason for believing that any sort of gods exist, and quite good reasons for believing that they do not exist and never have. It has all been a gigantic waste of time and a waste of life. It would be a joke of cosmic proportions if it weren't so tragic."
- Richard Dawkins

Portrait painting did not develop in early Judaism because they felt it violated the Commandment not to make images of god. The logic is that since we are created in the image of god, making images of ourselves would still be an image of god, like photocopying a photocopy. Some devout Muslims still hold this perspective. How did this idea disappear in later Judaism and Christianity?
