I think you may have confused the Bible with the Declaration of Independence. In the Declaration of Independence, Jefferson writes:
"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL [my emphasis], that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."

Your answer lies, not in the Bible, but in the Gettysburg Address. I include the entire speech. It is a great piece of oratory by an extraordinary man.

It has been scientifically proven that each person contains a certain amount of electricity that gives them life. That life is maintained and created by JESUS and given equally to all men.

I think that came from the U.S. Constitution.
It is written that God is no respecter of persons, I think that is the closest you are going to get about equality. Besides true equality will not happen until we live in the new heaven and earth. Not going to happen here.
