I recently carried out a survey of 10 women who were in the later stages of child-birth at the time. The question I asked was ...." Do you think that a woman's body shows signs of having been designed by an intelligent super-being. Based on your personal experience, how would you rate the design, efficiency and ease of use of the human birth process.

My question is, do you think it was an appropriate time to ask that question ?

I admire atheists' restraint in trying to defend themselves using their logic and words...but, why don't we ever actually physically fight when we are attacked? I mean, why don't we arm ourselves against people that are trying to hurt us...why don't we assassinate anyone (hypothetical question)? Extremist Muslims, right-wing militias...we're under fire! I don't think our words are going to work all the time...

The Seven Deadly Sins are :
1)Lust
2)Gluttony
3)Greed
4)Sloth
5)Wrath
6)Envy
7)Pride

Please pick your favorite sin to commit. Also state whether your a man or a woman. I want to see if there is a difference in sin preference between the genders. I will summarize the results. All religions, agnostics, atheists, or whatever, are allowed to participate.
REMEMBER TO PICK ONE SIN & GIVE YOUR GENDER !

In the Bible, It seems the number '7' is considered by God to be a 'perfect' number... Do you know why?

Thanks for your thoughts (-:

This site is amazing, you get to learn all sorts of stuff. Like if I hadn't read somebody's answer to a question over in M&F I wouldn't have known that Taoism, Confuciusism [sic] and Buddhism were the three philosophies. Not only that, but all philosophy is independent of religion. This is the kind of stuff schools should really be teaching - bugger reading and writing skills.

By the way, I thought there were four philosophies - but obviously Confusionism (which seems to be the guiding light of my life) has made the cross-over into "lifestyle choice."

for women, what did he invent for men?

Seems more like Gods to me.

God intended to make a paradise for man in which he intended to allow man to live for all eternity. He created a forbidden tree from which he intended man never to eat.

God intended to prove that people have faith in him by making himself invisible and imperceivable to the senses.

Both were done with good intentions.

But in hindsight, both ideas were pretty stupid, no?

To all those who answer my other questions, I am sorry for the way I worded my question and the additions. I am sorry if I offended anyone. I am just very quick with things. When I have an idea, I shout it all out and don't think twice until it's too late. I still believe that evolution is a lie, but this time I will tell why I believe it is a lie. Sorry again if I offended anyone!

Now my answer to my first question...Evolution believe that all of a sudden dirt started spinning around and around. After awhile it explded and made all the galaxies. Well if that were true than all galaxies would be turning the same way. (I forgot what scientific law that is) In truth there are galaxies that spin backwards.
Evolution thinks things get better, but acctually things get worst. You can observe this in everthing.
Evolution believes that the earth is 4.5billions years old. Well, if the eath was that old then there would be a whole lot more people on this earth.

I am learning more and more the power of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The principle that He lived by are awesome and inspirational. I am so glad that His life and works are documented in the Bible. The Bible is the most powerful weapon in the world. No way will I ever be just a "religious" person ever again. I fight and win when I am stayed in Jesus, who was born, and died and resurrected for me- and you!!!

you tell you're sins and the priest tell you to say whatever amounts of prayers to be granted forgiveness. what right has he to tell you that you're forgiven?

Trust me, I think passion is great. I think that conviction is a very meritable thing. However, how can some one actually BELIEVE in something without educating themselves on the subjects at hand? I've run across this numerous times on yahoo answers, in the form of hateful opinions toward gays, atheists, religious people, so many etc. Are these people even interested in why they believe the way they believe?

When it comes down to it, faith is an emotional thing, like falling in love. It can't be forced to happen. You can choose what to do with your faith or lack thereof, but you cannot choose whether or not you have it. I choose not to pretend I have faith when I do not, because I do believe in morality and truth, and I won't lie to myself or anyone else about it.

if you are believers in God.. Ask him to show you, what you are doing wrong in life that he frowns down on.. so that you can see his glory and power.. and heed to the voice in side your heart, body, and soul that it is the word of God...
