The "Catholic" God is the Christian God. All Christians, regardless of denomination, worship the same God, albeit certain beliefs and practices might differ from one denomination to the next but Christians do worship the same God.

There would be no Protestant God if there were no Catholic (Christian) God, because there would be no Protestants! If the original Christian Church, the one Christ founded for all mankind, didn't exist, then the unauthorized, manmade, denominational churches would have nothing to rebel against, and they wouldn't exist either. And obviously the Bible wouldn't exist, since early leaders of the Catholic Church wrote the New Testament texts, and the Catholic Church compiled the Holy Bible for its own use.

Muslims, Jews, Catholics and other Christians all believe in the one true God, the God of Abraham.

With love in Christ.

Your question is excellent because it points out a fallacy that many Christians seem to accept. There are many Christians who say they do not accept the "Muslim God", "Allah", the "Catholic God", the "Jewish God", et cetera when they are all names for the same one eternal Being. Saying such a thing also implies the existence of multiple gods, which would be polytheism.

In reality, there is only one God. That is the foundation of true religion. Whether you call Him El, Eloh, Allah, YHWH, Jehovah, He is one reality, one Unknowable Essence, one All-Mighty Creator.

No. All Christians, which includes Catholics, believe in the same God. We all believe that we are saved because Christ was born of the flesh, died to redeem us from our sins, rose from the dead, ascended into Heaven, and that He will come back again. The Ceremonies and the methods of all churches were set up by man. There is really no division, though people make it so. Jesus promised us all that if we believe in him, we will be part of His kingdom to come.

How many Gods are there? You are a crazy mixed-up kid. And why are you Christians so divided among yourselves? How are you going to fight terrorism? Get real, man. There is more to do than squabble the **** about which God is better.

Sorry sweetie but there is only one God. You can not slip him in a slot and call him a Catholic or Lutheran or Mormon. He is God, not, Catholic or Mormon or Lutheran.

No, why should it be? What makes a god better than another? They're all fake anyway.
