I recently carried out a survey of 10 women who were in the later stages of child-birth at the time. The question I asked was ...." Do you think that a woman's body shows signs of having been designed by an intelligent super-being. Based on your personal experience, how would you rate the design, efficiency and ease of use of the human birth process.

My question is, do you think it was an appropriate time to ask that question ?

LOL!

I am not so sure it was polite or effective to ask at that time...
When in labor I was completely ruled by my body, and had no time for silly questions... Do you do phone surveys during the dinner hour also?

However, having had 9 live births vaginally, I found that my body was very well suited to launching new people, and I accept the compromise of being able to give birth and still have legs close enough together to walk.

If it were your spouse or significant other, the question would be: Would they grab your love and squeeze screaming, "This is all your fault!"

If not, then it would be an appropriate time.
