What would be your perfect church service?

Lots of music? Long sermon? No sermon? Q & A period after? Communion? Pot luck lunch? Charismatic? Understated?

Is it more important in a service to commune with god (if you are a believer), or to commune with like-minded people?

.

A group of people who like to discuss ideas and concepts. It's as close to organized religion as I can get. No leader, evening group, glass of wine... lot's of laughter.

Or a good old mountain climb... always amazing.

My church service consists of a quick thank you to God for the perfection that I see around me, and a long silence while I listen to see If I need to do anything to help.
