In the Christian faith, timing is everything. You can be a rat-bastard all your life, but accept Jesus at the end, and you're in like Flynn.

Well, you did ask about 'this God of yours' so I'll tell you what I know about what He says.

There is a 'covering' that was brought into being that makes it possible for us to be 'covered' with. The covering is necessary to escape the wrath of God. That covering was supplied by God through Jesus Christ. If you are covered, you will not suffer the wrath of God.

If you've ever heard of the Passover, and are familliar with the story in Exodus where those that sacrificed a lamb and struck the top of the doorway and the sides of the posts of the doorway, the Angel of Death would pass over that house and all within it would be saved. The same is true for us Christian. Only our Lamb was sacrificed about 2000 years ago and is the final blood sacrifice. The promise is that the wrath of God is no longer ours to suffer.

So whatever we have done is forgiven because the claim for that sacrifice is valid with God. I too have done stupid and immoral things, but I have an advocate with the Father. Jesus the Christ.

When we accept Christ and confess our sins he is faithful to forgive us from our sins past to present.

1st John 1v
9If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

God does not punish the wicked throughout eternity that is an incorrect interpretation born upon a bad translation of the Holy Scriptures.

Rev 21v
3And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. 4And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Trust in the blood of Christ and claim his promise of forgiveness, and be re-born in the spirit.

Your friend,

Andrew

God doesn't want to punish . He wants us to have fellowship with him. All those things that were done would be " washed away" just like they never happened
