Well, it makes a change from all that disgusting heterosexual sex they have been showing for years.
Oh, those poor women - I never know whether to cry or vomit.
TRUTH_SERUM: do you have any idea how stupid your statement makes you sound?

"Isn't it clear that two people with the same sex organs are not meant to perform sex with each other."
Nope. Two people with the same sex organs simply can't make a child together. But most gay people don't want children anyway.

The only producers making tv shows are gay right now so naturally, for them to make a gay show is normal. Your right that there are too many gay and lesbian shows on tv in relation to the population being gay. Look at it another way though. Most of the gay and lesbian actors on these shows are second and third rate and really have little acting ability (for me, in my eyes) so I turn them off anyway. They have just put it all in your face so quickly ,I just didn't get acclimatized to the changes slowly enough.
We sort of need a Pied Piper walking through the chanels , collecting all the producers, actors, studio heads and money men, walking them all out to the ocean shore .

Well, I am more disgusted by all the religious programs trying to promote their sickness to the rest of the world. Isn't it clear to people that there is no god, and that it was created as a means of control, and to fill in those gaps in our history that can't be explained.
The nerve of those people!!
Wow!! You're a smart one. Don't be late for that Klan rally you have planned this evening.

BTW, I used to have Comcast and now I have Dish. Sometimes, there's something that's worth watching on TV. There's usually something to watch on TV at least once a month. Things have changed nowadays and it's a different generation. A lot of American people like mindless shows that they don't learn any lessons from. Nowadays, any show with lots of violence and adult language is considered a good show. People like those type of shows because they think violence and adult language is cool for some reason. There's always the assumption that a show on a channel like AMC, FX, TNT, or USA Network is high quality because it can push the envelope (being able to have lots of inappropriate content like violence and adult language that you couldn't see on CBS). But that's not the case at all. It's more about quality and not pushing the envelope. People will assume that CBS, FOX, ABC, and NBC don't have a lot of high quality shows as compared to TNT and USA Network because the execs at those 4 networks don't want to air high quality shows in the assumption that they're too "intelligent" for TV viewers. People will see a high quality show once in a while on one of those 4 those networks, but there'll always be a high quality show on FX, TNT, and USA Network because it's cable after all. High quality shows belong on those 3 channels and it's no surprise people like a lot of shows on those 3 channels. The execs at CBS, FOX, ABC, and NBC (The Big 4) air what the TV viewing public wants to watch. Apparently, the viewing public doesn't want to watch a show that's too smart for them to understand and/or is thought provoking. There are people who say that the execs at the Big 4 should get rid of reality shows because they're dumbing people down. But not all scripted and reality TV shows on those 4 networks suck. Shows like Undercover Boss and Shark Tank aren't those type of stupid and pointless reality TV shows. They're decent shows to watch. Reality TV shows exist because they're cheap to produce and the execs are getting money from them. In the long run, the execs care more about money and less about quality. A show on on CBS, FOX, ABC, or NBC won't get cancelled unless it's getting decent ratings. In general, a majority of the TV viewing public has pretty low standards when it comes to TV viewing. There are still some people that watch shows on FX, TNT, or USA Network because they'd rather watch high quality shows on those channels than the mostly low-quality shows on CBS, FOX, ABC, or NBC. Anyways, TV will never be the same unless the TV industry changes.

I think the real sickness is lack of tolerance for people with beliefs that oppose your own.
I don't really understand the gay lifestyle, but it's not my place to judge it. And, what exactly would I gain by labeling it a "sickness"?
As long as they're not hurting other people and little children, what gay people want to do with their sex organs is none of my business.

There is a very powerful tool you can use when you are confronted with things on television which disturb you. You can switch the thing off. Television is not necessary for human survival. You can get along without it. Toss it out the window and watch yourself become more productive.
You might even (I hesitate to suggest such a radical notion) begin to read and learn.

Take a walk in nature or go to the zoo. See those same-sex animals loving each other? Some same sex creatures form bonded pair for life.
It's time to wake up. Everything they taught you as a child isn't true. We know more now. Embrace that. Also, "nowadays" died with the Andy Griffith Show.

Welcome to the media's slow way of desensitizing the people. First, the gays demand their right to be recognized, them they demand special rights (which would promote them ABOVE everyone else), now they want their lifestyle promoted in elementary schools, where it will be literally forced on children to believe this lie.
Let's see how many thumbs down I get, HOMOSEXUALITY IS AN ABOMINATION UNTO THE LORD.
There is no way in hell I will have this lifestyle brought to my kids. Home schooling is the alternative, and my children will be brought up correctly.

They're not "promoting" anything. While it does appear a tad opportunistic, they're simply trying to show that they're honest, hardworking, taxpaying citizens like the rest of us. You need not be so frightened of gays; they're not out to boink you in the butt! Jeez, you homophobes are more scared of gays than you are of Islamic terrorists!

Well it is there sin, and yes they are promoting it all over TV.
But.... we've been through this before with pornography and sexual stimulation of heterosexuality.... nobody needs to promote that stuff on TV. I for one, think it's funny and am able to laugh of that sort of thing now, but the way to disregard it, is to teach our children right and wrong according to the scripture. We're not to change the entire world one gay at a time or one sicko at a time as they are not accountable to us for that. We have our own sins, and although some of ours is not planted for all to see, we are accountable in the same way.
You can't sweat the small stuff, just live your life as unto the Lord and allow your brothers and sisters to do the same.
Be not worried about the spec in your brothers eye when you may have a log in your own so it says in the scripture.
