I come up with this really profound reason to believe in god, the angels and little baby Jesus and people make a drinking game out of it.

Well it's Monday here, but yesterday I was persecuted by the Ahumourists when they refused to believe I was making a joke, just because there was no "scientific evidence" what I said was funny.

There was a question that very vaguely, in a 'blanket statement' kind of way came moderately close to saying something I could have misconstrued as an affront to my beliefs.
Does that count as persecution?
