When a person dies, they go to heaven or to hell. There is no in-between. Demons are deceivers and can try to convince someone that there are ghosts. You (or whomever you are asking for) may be dealing with demon oppression (they are around the person) or in very rare occasions, possible possession (not like you see in silly Hollywood movies, though) Get help from a spiritual leader (Pastor, priest, etc.)
Believer_in_jesus37421 said it much better than I did. I recommend that you do everything he said.

There are many people who have lost loved ones and who would desperately like to be able to talk with them again or receive messages from them. This desire is understandable, but contacting the dead is not permitted by God according to the Bible. The attempt is a sin against God and results in either deception or involvement with demonic entities impersonating the dead.
I urge you, as strongly as I know how, not to dabble or get involved in anything to do with occult practices, including this one. At best, they are deceptive and fraudulent; at worst, they can involve you in matters which are satanic in origin.
The Bible is very clear that such things are false and will only lead you away from God and His truth. In the Old Testament God commanded, 'Let no one be found among you ... who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord' (Deuteronomy 18:10-12).
The Bible urges us to turn in faith to Christ and to seek the truth He has given us in the Bible. God's Word alone gives us spiritual truth; any other path will lead us astray. Occult practices will never tell us with finality what is beyond the grave, but because of His resurrection we can know from Christ everything we need to know.
It is critically important for anyone who has been involved in this or any other occult practice to confess it to God as a sin, renounce the practice, and turn to Jesus Christ for His forgiveness, cleansing and protection. Consultation with a Gospel-preaching pastor may be wise. A book such as "The Bondage Breaker" by Neil Anderson has been helpful to many. It would be available through a Christian bookstore.

You can't not believe in ghosts if you've never had an experience with one.
they are just souls.
ive had experience with a ghost, a relative, so i know they are real!
if u believe in god, then you believe in souls.
if u believe in souls, then its almost impossible to not believe in ghosts!

It is one think to "know" that they exist. It is another thing to "believe" in them. I know that ghosts exist. They are just people whom have passed on. They are around us all of the time. I do not believe in them as like talk to them or anything. But I know that they exist. They are just people. PEACE!

Of course it's okay to believe in ghosts.
As long as you don't expect other people to agree whole heartedly with your belief, it's okay to believe in anything.
It's up to you. It's your choice. There will always be people who disagree with you. And that is their choice.
I believe in, as you put it, ghosts. I honour the spirits of my ancestors. That is my spirituality, my 'religion'. My choice.

It's more than okay. It is essential in protection of your soul. You see, there are good ghosts and bad ghosts and benign ghosts. I think of them more in terms of spirits than ghosts.

I guess you will have to witness a spirit and you probably will in your lifetime. There is no fear. They will not hurt you. People are beginning to open their minds and not allowing the church to keep them ignorant of what is indeed out there. It is not evil it does exist. So yes of course its ok. Why shouldnt you? You will not be struck with lightening. ;-)

Your decision.
Ghosts aren't real but it's okay if you believe in it. I wouldn't be surprised because people do all sorts of things like "take a picture" of a ghost, tell ghost stories, and such to make people think that ghosts ARE real.

Not really... ghosts may be logically possible but not casually possible. In our realm, they would violate laws of nature, but if you want to, then thats up to you.
