Instead of fair and just, he sounds kind of petty and vengful. Sending someone to hell sounds like the action of an immature jr. high kid torturing his dog. According to the bible he is all powerful, so it seems like instead of banishing the devil to hell he could have done a million different punishments that didn't involve torture of the human race. It all seems pretty silly to me.

I have trouble in understanding in what you mean I had converted from one Christian faith to another. Example:
I grew up Catholic but Converted to a Southern Baptist
I grew up Methodist but converted to a Catholic
I grew up Baptist but was converted to Methodist
I was born Roman Catholic but converted to Greek Orthodox
And so on and so on.
My question is this: if you believed in Jesus before by being a Catholic why do you call it a conversion if you become a Baptist? Baptists still believe in Jesus last time I’ve checked as do all other Christian sects. So, why call it conversion?
I grew up as a Reform Jew, latter I changed synagogues and became Conservative, and when I entered college I became Orthodox. I did not reconvert to any branch. I was born Jew and remained a Jew. When I entered different synagogues and prayed there no rabbi told me to convert reform, conservative or orthodox.

The hypothetical situation is this: God is still good and righteous, and the Devil is evil, but worshipping God leads to eternity in the fiery pits of hell, while a life of evil leads to eternal bliss of heaven. Or another way to put it: What if Satan decided the fate of your soul? Or another way to phrase the question: Do you worship God because he is righteous and holy, or because it leads to heaven? Your thoughts?

Would you sacrifice your life on earth doing good, and be banished to hell afterwards? Or would you sacrifice your life on earth doing bad, and be rewarded with afterlife in heaven?

Or, another way to put it, if God was evil, but worshipping him led to eternal afterlife in heaven, would you still worship God?

These are all basically the same question.

One more thing: If you don't believe in God, and your answer will consist of "There is no God" or "This is why I don't believe in God" or etc., DONT' ANSWER! Obviously, this question isn't for you.

With all due respect, Christians don't need to chime in. I certainly left the Christian alone when she asked that I do so.

While Christians do not agree as to when The Rapture will occur, all agree that it will happen. But who are these that are being taken away if God's Kingdom will be established on earth? "The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out (sullego) of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together (episunago) his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other." While those who do iniquity are “gathered OUT” of his kingdom, the elect are “gather together” in his kingdom. Who is getting raptured, those who do iniquity or the believers?

I want to be able to remember Heaven when I go there. I have this gnawing feeling that dying is just like falling asleep and waking up in a dream like state, called heaven. And when you're there, it's great and everything you think heaven should be, but you won't remember it, and be put back in this world as a new body, new person like you didn't miss a beat. What if you want to stay in heaven, know youre in heaven and not come back to this world.? I don't know why I'm even asking that on here. These are just the thoughts that I can't get out of my mind. I want to go to heaven when the time is right and stay there.

C = Christians
M = Muslims

Not that your God and your religions aren't real. It's just that they are like being trapped in a padded box.

I am a self study pagan and have a problem by the word "grounding".
I read but I still don't understand.
From my readings, if you want to cast a spell, it is best that you start by grounding. Standing or sitting,visualise the energy coming from the mother earth through my feets.
Problem is I am living in a building (storey 7th), how do I visualise that?
That the energy from the mother earth flows through the cement building N fills me by the floor i am standin/sittin?
I don't do spells outdoor.I don know any undisturbed places in my country.
And is it a MUST to do "grounding" again after casting a spell?(to return leftover or unused energy to the mother earth)
This "grounding" thing is getting on my nerves.I feel really stupid not knowin how to do it properly.But I have no problems visualise gettin powers from the sun or moon becos' it makes more sense with e visualise. Standin up N facin e Sun/Moon N visualise.

Anyway,how do you guys do "grounding"?

Most people are aware that the transporter actually kills those it transports. Since it re-creates the mind in a new body, how do you feel about it's either disregard for the soul, or it's ability to make those too?

I was raised as a Christian, up until I moved when I was in 4th grade, after my family moved we stopped going to church, my parents got divorced, and things pretty much went down hill from there :( My life isn't terrible or anything, but I feel like something is missing, and lately I have had a really strange urge to read the bible even though I haven't in about 11 years. So can anyone tell me how I can be a Christian please ?

Other Information:
-I am 21
-I haven't been to church in about 10 or 11 years
-I was never baptised, my parents planned on getting me baptised but never got around to it :(
-I am a virgin, if that counts for anything ??

Thank You for your help :)

My drive to work 5 days a week is all highway, about 18 miles up I17 in Phoenix ... and this week I noticed some new billboards ... there was MacDonalds, Chevy, AT&T, BurgerKing, ... and God ... yes God ... I noticed 2 on my drive, one sign said "are you lost, all the answers are in my book ~God" the other said "why live a lifetime, when you can have eternity ~God" ... My question goes to followers of God ... are you embarrased by this marketing ploy? I don't know that i've ever seen another religeon hard sell like that before ... and my second question is, How can they just make up quotes like that and put God's name on it? Does that bother you?
