Yep. There is always a rebuttal to the rebuttal.

Yes, They're called denominations. Each Christian denomination shares it's own interpretation of the Bible, that's why there are so many different denominations around the world. Taking a literal interpretation of the Bible is uncommon in modern society, and most references are largely considered parables; metaphors for some specific idealized view pertaining to the given situation. I am a Christian, but I am also smart enough to realize that the Bible, which was written by an estimated 500 different authors spanning 1000 years of history, is full of contradictions. Many other religious documents, such as the Koran and the Torrah, are also contradictory.
Bottom line is, that belief in a particular religion comes down to faith. If you believe it, then it is true for you. I believe Jesus Christ is the saviour, but I am not a fundamental-literalist; I don't take the Bible at its word.
Also, if you are going to ask a question like that, I would suggest being able to cite particular errors instead of guesstimating what you think is wrong.

I'm pretty certain you could find somebody out there who would claim they could answer all the errors, but I don't think they really could. I don't think anybody can. Errors are just that, errors.
Mind you, I'm a Christian, Presbyterian, to be exact. We tend to believe that, while divinely inspired, the Bible was still written by humans, and translated by humans, and re-translated by humans, and so on. It is only natural that there will be errors.
Many Chrisitians will say that they have faith that whatever is in the Bible is correct. We Presbyterians know that, while faith is certainly important, a certain amount of knowledge and education is necessary too. That's why we accept the very plain fact that there are tons of errors. What we believe is that, despite the errors, the "word" of God is still present in the Bible, and there is still a great deal of truth to be found.
So, as a Christian, I have an answer for all the 50,000 errors in the Bible.
Woops. Where's my whiteout? :)

i've got not got faith that any text textile or group of texts taken as scripture has something like that many errors, or that any employer, Christian or in any different case could desire to so wisely calculate or catalog them if there have been such. The sites given are no longer good to the Church stated. I even have large admire for the Quran and Hadith, yet outsiders might locate some aspects disjointed or contradictory which does no longer be in an attempt to Muslims. commonly scripture is taken from components which selection, and self reliant viewpoints are lined alongside with one yet another. those are no longer errors, yet open up dialogues wherein you will have interaction and interpret fact acceptable exterior the barriers of one set time, area, and way of existence. Are texts previously and after the Hegira the comparable? Do the Mecca and Medina texts agree in all their factors? The Bible is plenty greater, and the recent testomony on my own very nearly 500 years older than the Quran. Muhammad additionally knew a version of the Christian Scriptures distinctive from that used interior the Church on the instant, which replaced into real and which no longer? How do all of us recognize?

Most of the textual errors in the Bible are from misspelling. The rest are more like philosophical disagreements and misunderstandings by unbelievers. The Bible neither contradicts in history nor theology. It is true for all time because God is true for all time. While mankind may be liars, he is not.

There are errors because over 100 different people wrote it in a span of thousands of years, which later was all translated into different languages. There are so many ways the message could be altered, but it is the basic message that God loves you and Jesus died for your sins so you could go to heaven, is the one message that is the ultimate truth.

What you need to realise is that the Bilble is a Spiritual book, not a carnal book. You think that there are 50 000 errors in the Bible because you are dead spiritually.
You need to ask Jesus to take away your sins and ask God to send you the Holy Spirit. When you do this, you will be spiritually alive.
Then and only then will you understand the Bible.
There is NOT EVEN ONE ERROR in the BIBLE.
Jesus loves you.

If you think the Bible has errors, especially that many, then perhaps you should look at yourself. The errors most likely come from your way of thinking.
So, if you could list them, perhaps we could explain it so that it no longer seems like an error.

yes, mainly because they're not all errors, just misunderstandings by non-believers.
like people always tell me "oh, but the the gospels are different". obviously they're different, as they were written by different people with different focuses. or people say "oh, but rabbits don't chew cud". honestly, who really cares what rabbits do or don't according to the Bible? Hebrew is a language with many similar words such as "chew the cudd" and "chew incesently".
gimme a list and I can probably tell you the answer.
