I believe the world is so vast and has so many possibilities that it is hard for the human mind cope with this understanding. Now, throw the universe into the mix and the possibilities and the capacity necessary to understand those possibilities has just in exponentially proportions. We as humans, not just JCM's, but in general have a great need to feel like we belong to something, and when faced with infinite possibilities, JCM's and others have a very hard time identifying where in the universe they fit it. Religion offers them the solution to the problem.

In short, it is NOT that they are narrow minded or intolerant, I believe it is that they simply do not UNDERSTAND how to have an open mind.

lets see if I understand this question... Why do they accept surving God when there is soo many other choices? Cause they might care that people out there will Go to hell when they have a chance to go to Heaven. Cause they arent selfish and put aside other possiblities to help others? cause in the end when your in heaven you can play out whatever possiblity you want and for an infinitesibal time. Also Living For God Improves your soul and life :D

Why did you capitalize "know"? Does that mean you invented your own definition?
