Young men are the most easily influenced by thoughts and ideas of others.

In all military academies, only the young are the recruits. So also here. Suicide bombing was the initiative of the Japanese. The Kamikaze Pilots were very young of age, volunteering to die while dive bombing on US Ships, destroying themselves and the Ship.

The young are more easily influenced by radical ideologies. Also being surrounded by virgins in 'heaven' is more appealing to young men.
