While Christians do not agree as to when The Rapture will occur, all agree that it will happen. But who are these that are being taken away if God's Kingdom will be established on earth? "The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out (sullego) of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together (episunago) his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other." While those who do iniquity are “gathered OUT” of his kingdom, the elect are “gather together” in his kingdom. Who is getting raptured, those who do iniquity or the believers?

That is the problem with the rapture. Who came up with that word any way? Sure there will be a period where the earth will be burned and purified and the righteous will be lifted up to escape the burning. But as I understand the scripture, that will only be a short time and then the righteous will be returned to inherit the earth.

1 Thessalonians 4:13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Well, the dead in Christ will be raised first, that is the dead bodies of the people who are in Heaven, then the living Christians will be raised up to meet Jesus in the air. Cool, huh? No sinners will get to go into Heaven, only those who are saved.

All Christians do not agree that the "Rapture" will happen - it was invented only a couple hundred years ago. There simply is no historical basis for it and the Biblical basis is comical at best.

Nobody will experience it because the term "Rapture" doesn't appear anywhere in the Bible.
It is a lie perpetuated by man.
