and his disciples also? Was this what JESUS meant when He said, "greater things than these shall ye do?"

Now, I can understand why stories of miracles would be needed to try to convince a people of a particular set of beliefs, but, beyond that:

Why did they stop? Are they not needed any longer?

I mean, come on! Really...

The miracles of the Bible - Water into wine, Parting a sea, outrunning a chariot, raising the dead etc... Where are they? I mean I've heard rumors, but I've also heard rumors of bigfoot. All we ever hear are Christians who claim they've been healed of cancer, or Alcoholism or "fear." Absolutely non-miraculous things! Little understood cancer can disappear overnight on its own.

Why the change?

Why are there no miracles? If you insist on miracles, why are yours so very weak, compared to the real ones inthe BIble?

Are you going to say that there's not enough faith in the world today? Well, when in the history of verifiable history has there ever been?

Everytime I try to do it, the present becomes the past. There's no such thing as the present, only the past and the future.

1) do JWs (sorry if that offends) use the standard 66 book Bible? (Genesis to Malachi OT, Matthew to Revalation NT)

2) how do you view other Christian denominations in general (providing you consider yourselves Christian)?

3) on the whole blood thing, do you believe it's a sin, or a bringer of condemnation upon you? just wondering, please don't take it into offense...

Will this make me more prone to sinning? Will this make me more apt to commit a sin knowing that I will be forgiven if I ask afterward? Please be serious. I know that if I commit a sin, as long as it isn't blasphemy, I will be forgiven. PLEASE HELP ME with this. I'm struggling.

Is it true that no one answers earlier questions because they know that only the asker will read them?

People kill over religion. So why is Atheism dangerous? Are the Christians just afraid of losing domination over the minds of the masses?

If religion is supposed to be all love, kindness, compassion, the root our good morals, how do you explain the following:

Why does religion encourage violence, genocide, racism, hatred, murder, sexual and psychological abuse, corruption, dominance, political power, imperialism, wars, ambition, ignorance and arrogance? Take a look at history and open your eyes.

What I mention above is true; it has happened and there's no doubt about it. it continues happening.

Thanks goodness I'm a secular humanist.

Before you start judging and bashing, take a look at the following:

What does it say? Is it wrong to believe in what I believe?
Don't you want this for you and your kids?

Whenever the subject of sex and the Bible comes up, somebody starts quoting the sexual crimes mentioned in the Bible, as if the mere mention of them is an indication of God's approval.

Does anybody here REALLY believe that? Or is it just manipulative spin?

"If you really believe that (a mention means God's approval), I believe you haven't read the whole story..."

Please give real answers!
