Ack. no no no. Being "bad" doesn't cancel out being a Christian. We all do bad things. Some of our misdeeds are more obvious than others. Some of us are better at hiding it. No matter who you are, where you are, what faith it is you ascribe to, you are, to some degree, bad. It's part of the consciousness and free will human beings ended up with, through evolution or through God, whatever you believe.
So, as for Christians, none is without sin. There aren't "good" Christians and "bad" Christians. Also, what is your criteria for determining bad or good? It's all subjective.
If you really want to find one group to label bad, you could give it to those who take judging other upon themselves. Totally wrong, and in Christianity that needs to be left up to God, the only one who can truly see into a person's heart. Throwing stones on the roof would be judging others unfairly, and excluding those that don't conform to some whack standard of "good" and "bad." I agree that it's hypocritical for Christians to call others bad christians. But I think you are wrong to say that followrs of a religion shouldn't allow bad people in. Leave that up to God.

The bad means 'carnal' Christians. These are the Christians who don't know who they are in Christ. They try to make themselves more righteous and criticize others who don't meet their standers. This is a criticle, judgmental Christian, who feels miserable. Sometimes they die early.
What makes a person a Christian is being born of God, redeemed by His Blood, joint heirs with Jesus, part of the family of God. They are a child of the King, inheriting Kingdom blessings. They are made the righteousness of Christ. Nothing they do or don't do will change that. They will sin, and know to confess it to God & God will forgive and make right. They go to church because that is what Christians do, not to be more righteous. They are delivered from addictions because God heals them, not quit addictions to be more righteous. When we do things we think are right based on self righteousness, it results in judging/criticizing others. It isn't Christ righteousness.

You love to mix those metaphors don't you. I mean what does throwing stones to their own roofs mean.
Maybe what you should say is a good old oxymoron, hmmm like now there goes a "good Catholic".
(Please allow me the sarcasm, I have no issue with Catholics I'm just trying to make a point out of this pointless question.)
There now I've rambled nonsense too.

whoever said christians were good? Some of us are bad bad people! We try, or should try our best to be good, but it's so hard! I hope I don't sound obvious, but a Christian is someone who believes Jesus is their savior, not that we're good.

The people who use 'bad' in this sense are referring to Christians who do not believe exactly as they do.

being a christian does not mean you are good...it means that you are admitting that you sin, it is admitting that you get lost, admitting that you fail sometimes, admitting that you need guidance. "bad" people belong to the church in the same way sick people belong to the hospital.

Christians aren't any better or worse than anyone else ... they are simply "saved".
The Bible states that none are good. Getting saved doesn't change you automatically. One only hopes that after one is saved, they will be prompted to lead a better life.
