For the most part, with me, it's the homophobia of christianity. The Bible calls homosexuals sinners because of their homosexuality which is stupid. So because someone has feelings for and may love a person of the same sex and wants to express it, they should there for be ashamed of themselves and they are wrong. A Christian cannot look at that last sentence and see the outrageous stupidity of it. And that surprises me. It's shocks me that anyone would ever insult people for loving each other and wanting to express it. And labeling anything as a sinner is basically name-calling. What annoys me so much about Christians is how they will act as if their religion is right and will say god doesn't like your homosexuality. They totally start acting like everyone is apart of their religion. They totally forget, that's probably not the belief of homosexuality so why the hell r u telling me about that stuff? It's like keep it to yourselves. So, I don't have any respect for christianity mainly

Why is there so little information on the topic of Pre-Birth Communication (PBC)? My unborn daughter communicates with me frequently and it really freaks me out.

And the Spiritual experience of other Christians are false? Feeling God's Spirit is a wonderful thing. It happens to me almost daily. But I still look for my faith to be anchored on His word... Your testimony is nice but it hasn't more authority than mine.... Jim

This is much like my question about God.

I have no desire to bash anyone for their beliefs, nor do I want to be bashed for my Christian beliefs. I want to know what non-believers struggle with believing most. I only ask a few conditions:
1. You be respectful to Christianity and to other religions.
2. You not make assumptions.
3. You ask a serious question that has to do with the Christian religion.
4. You're willing to hear my response.

I don't claim to be a professional philosopher or theologian, but I WILL try to answer all questions to the best of my ability, whether I have space on this question to answer, or whether I have to e-mail you.

I do. Get this the Sanhedrin court decided to purchase a herd of sheep for ritual sacrifice at the site of the temple. The are not just talking now about rebuilding the third temple they are seriously putting things into action. Also Israel is training now for war with Iran and Syria. Get this there is this evil man going around saying he is Jesus and has many followers and decieving them into the pits of hell. His name is Jose Luis de Jesus, and he bares the number 666 on his arm. Jesus said in the last days do not be deceived for many will come in my name saying I am the Christ and will decieve many. The chipping technology will be available very soon in the near future for humans to have implanted. This gerneration saw Israel back in there land in 1948, and this generation will also see the return of the Lord. I have been given 2 revelations from Jesus about this being sooner that you all think, I were not given dates. Jesus I beleive will return within 20 years. Get ready as he

Do you respect Jesus' teachings about human ethics but not his teachings on supernatural concepts? Have you found a 'middle ground' with the teachings of Jesus?

Thanks.

I hear people say all the time if you just read the bible God will tell you what it means. If this is so why are there so many different beliefs among Christians. Even those that say they take the bible literally cant agree. Even in the same congregations you get splits all the time. I am not asking this question to attack, but to make people think. I do want serious answers.

From my life experience, it seems like he's very, very angsty. A global flood just to teach us right? The burden of sin for the rest of humankind just because of Adam and Eve ate a FRUIT because they were tempted by Satan (who GOD HIMSELF apparently created)?

Wouldn't it have been smarter to sit down and talk things out instead of going right to mass murder?

A plagues, droughts, floods, and famines? Is this how God spreads his holy love?

Hey guys. Look, I'm a Catholic, admittedly not the best Catholic in the world, i mean, the whole no contraception and no sex before marriage could have severe repercussions on the social life. To be honest, in Ireland at least, most Catholics are like that.

Anyway, I'm a lawyer, not a scientest, but i have an excellent understanding of astrophysics, including the big bang, and evolution. I am as frustrated as you are reading the answers of these crazy people saying evolution doesn't exist, and that viruses are caused by sin. In fact, I am actually reading the God Delusion by Richard Dawkins at the moment, cos I want to see why he is such a firm advocate of Atheism.

My question, however, is how come you feel the need to knock down people's faiths? You have the right to choose to be atheist, and i fully appreciate that right and that belief. Why can't you appreciate the fact that people are entitled to their faith irrational or not? I know not all atheists here are like that though
