This is much like my question about God.

I have no desire to bash anyone for their beliefs, nor do I want to be bashed for my Christian beliefs. I want to know what non-believers struggle with believing most. I only ask a few conditions:
1. You be respectful to Christianity and to other religions.
2. You not make assumptions.
3. You ask a serious question that has to do with the Christian religion.
4. You're willing to hear my response.

I don't claim to be a professional philosopher or theologian, but I WILL try to answer all questions to the best of my ability, whether I have space on this question to answer, or whether I have to e-mail you.

Why do people have to make salvation so complicated?

God loved us
Jesus paid our sin debt
Embracing Christ is embracing the love of God

No work, no struggle, only believe.

I just don't understand.

Well to be fair, which bible are you refering to? There are many religions out there that claim that their bible is the one and true bible. I guess that is my main question: Which one to consider to be the "true" bible. There are many variations on a same theme. Some might say that this is because they were divinly inspired. But then how could musicians, poets, arthors and the like have the same basic idea, with variations? Are we to call that also divine inspiration? I don't make any assumptions here, because this is true. This is the question that most gnaws at my heals and why I don't buy into the whole religion thing, no matter which religion you are speaking of. I do respect anyone's beliefs, and I apologize if you feel that I have bashed any religion.

The true identity of Apollyon in Revelation 9:11. When you begin reading chapter 9 it becomes clear that Apollyon is on God's side, so he isn't a demon, or Satan, as some believe. I have heard it is Jesus or just a different angel altogether. This is a curiosity, not a "struggle". I just haven't had time to research it yet.

By the way, Carved in Stone; the very next verse in Exodus states that if the baby dies then the person who caused it should be put to death!!! Abortion doesn't seem so minor now, does it!?

If men harm a woman with child so that here fruit depart her…they should pay a fine as determined by a judge.”

Exodus 21:22 KJV

This seems to say abortion is a minor sin in God's eyes.
