And is it redundant for you to refer to that book whilst coming up with an argument against my question?

Not really. They worship a character in a fictional book. Not the book itself.

well your really just generalizing here. Often when you talk to born agains they only say how much fulfilling there life is now that they have found Jesus. Most don't even mention the bible. However, when few people, not necessarily born agains, start spewing out bible verses like pea soup from Linda Blair, yeah I say they are worshiping a book. Things from the bible cannot be taken out of context like that (with the exception of psalms), for example whenever one of these people see a psychic or medium they say "Exodus 22:18, Thou shall not suffer a witch to live" but they forget that the laws of Exodus only applies to an exodus, and they forget the stories of Joseph (the amazing technicolor dream coat guy!) he was a dream interpreter, and they forget the story of the witch at Endor!
My favorite is when they try to condemn Catholics using the bible, I just think, "we are the ones you showed you this book!"

you have got a complicated time getting an answer to this, on account that Christians do no longer worship the Bible from now on than atheists worship technological awareness. for each respective team, the Bible or technological awareness is a skill to an end. and you does no longer discover one occasion interior the Bible the place it claims to be "infallable", if in basic terms because of the fact there is not any such be conscious. Catholics genuflect (they do no longer "bow") in church because of the fact it particularly is seen to be the residing house of God, and final I heard, Catholics do worship God, and in basic terms God. they do no longer worship everyone or the rest. Why this LIE persists continues to be a secret to me. maybe it particularly is an illustration that persons do no longer care what the certainty is. exhibiting appreciate for somebody and worshipping somebody are 2 completely diverse suggestions.

What is essential to first know is this. We were created to have a Love Relationship with the Creator. In order for love to be complete, we must have something outside of ourself to love. In the Garden of Eden, everything was good until sin broke that love connection. So now God reveals Himself to us through His Bible. And what the Bible is, is a love story. And it tells us how to regain that relationship that was broken. That is why the Bible is the most important Book ever written!

No, we worship the person of Jesus Christ. The bible is the revelation of Himself cover to cover !!!

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16

"But as many as received him (Jesus), TO THEM he gave the power to become the Sons of God, even to them that believe in his name, which were born.... not of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but were born of God"- (John 1:12)

They worship God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

John 9:31 - Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.

Any Biblical literalists certainly place the book over Creation itself.
