I like the Water Communion tradition practiced by many Unitarian Universalist congregations. Members collect samples of water from their homes and places they visit on summer vacation. At a service usually held in autumn, the members form a queue and pour these samples into a pitcher or common bowl, symbolizing the coming together of individual attributes to form a unified UU community. Some congregations use the collected water (once thoroughly purified) for various ceremonies performed throughout the coming year.

I am but a drop of water.
Alone, I would disappear,
Dried up by the scorching sun
Or sucked up by the dry, thirsty earth.
But together we can wear out stones,
Carve out the Grand Canyon,
Make streams and rivers,
And find our way to the sea.

~ Rev. Kok-Heong McNaughton

My favorite religious tradition is:
Attending the Christmas Candlelight service (and trying to catch my neighbor on fire.)

j/k...

And I'm still not saved.

I wish I could still stone my neighbors to death for eating shell fish.

God once required that of us all, but since he had his own son murdered, we can´t anymore.
