I don't have an answer. There has to be a God. Everything I know and see and think and feel points me towards something greater than this world has shown me.

It is like asking "Consider this: Why Wouldn't there be a tooth fairy"

While hypothesis is nice, there should be basis for it too.

Based on what should there be a god? Because a book says so?

And based on what the book says so? Because someone says so?

Based on what does someone says so? Because some other people says so?

So does it all boils down to hearsay?

For evolution, there are hypothesis too, but with evidence.

I do not know. I'm agnostic. I've accepted the fact that a higher power is a possibility. However, I am under the impression that if such a being exists, it is not like most believers make it out to be.

Given the evidence, what shows that there is one or more?

A lack of consistency in behavior?

A lack of consistency in creation stories?

No evidence for any miracles or divine intervention?

There wouldn't be one because "he's" not here! No more supernatural magic. Just the universe, and life inside. No afterlife, no "souls", no reward/punishment spirit system. Just this. JUST THIS. THIS IS IT>

Because... um... wait, wait, I got something... um... er... okay, I don't know why there wouldn't be a God.
