WOuld you consider Adam and Eve more of being disobedient or gullible ? I mean .. up until they were tempted by the Devil ...... they had probably never even experienced deception or a lie .....

And seriously what difference does it make. I am from a paganistic religion and where I live I get approached atleast 3-4 times a month by a christian , preaching to me the virtues of a christian life. The Jehovah's witnesses that come to me are actually kinda nice, they never question my religious faith, or condemn me to a life of hell, just pass their literature and ask to join them. but other's tend to put me off , by their preaching , when they tell me I am going to hell for my beliefs and how I follow a false god( gods in my case :-) Makes me wanna avoid them all the time.
Don't get me wrong. I love jesus and his preachings. I feel what he said about leading a better life was good stuff, the qualities should be in everyone. But I follow his spirituality rather then the religious aspect. Also I don't understand why there are so many churches anyway.They all believe in god and jesus , so what's the problem? Why do they have to fight among themselves and "steal" each other's members

Some say that Jesus is God, some say he's not. Some say that God disapproves of gays, some say that he loves everyone. Some say that God wants you to be rich, some say poverty is a blessing. Catholics and Protestants have FOUGHT WARS just to claim that they are the ones who are right. Whatever happened to "thou shalt not murder?"

If Christians can't even agree on these basic principles, how can their religion be taken seriously?


Wouldn't god want his faithful to be more in unity? All I hear everyday is endless bickering between [mostly] the Protestants and the Catholics....

This guy who calls himself Phyllis 4 JC keeps e-mailing me, begging me to stop thinking and being logical, and be more like him. Here is his last message:
"Mr. Immature Simpleton at it again I guess. You know, if you've got all the answers to life, why not share them? What could be more fictional than evolution, than humanism, than buddhism...shall I go on? Instead of being a total *** and spewing your demonic B.S., why don't you offer up a few solutions for us poor deluded souls...but wait, that would mean you'd have to think of putting a few words together without profanities. I guess I ask too much."

Does anyone know what his problem is? Is this how xians talk to people?? Do they actually think this is what jesus asked them to do? To talk down to people? Does jesus tell his followers to act this way? Is this meant to impress people?? I'd like some of jesus' followers to tell me if this is for real, or if this dude is just an imposter...

According to your religious beliefs, if God created the universe and everything in it, then who or what created God? It seems that the God explaination really explains nothing at all. It just shifts the question.
If God created himself, why couldn't the universe have created itself?
If God always existed, why couldn't the universe have always existed?
How did God create the universe out of nothing? Is this a question that we are not supposed to ask? Just saying it was a miracle seems to avoid the question, not answer it.
Do you have any opinions on this matter?
