successful in getting a restraining order against a whole congregation/church from continually coming to your door when you have already informed them that you are not interested in what they have to offer?

Yes, it's called harassment if it's persistent and you've made it clear that it's unwanted. That doesn't sound like a church, it sounds like a cult.

Is this some branch of the International Church of Christ? Sounds like experience of friends I know who've been in it.

Never tried, but my husband once answered the door completely naked and asked them what they wanted and invited them in. They refused and now they even refuse to walk on that side of the street. Also they must have told everyone in the church because no one has came by for 7 years, including avoiding this side of the street.

You must be talking about Jehova Witness.Yeah they dont take a NO for an answer.They need to leave people alone.Expecially because they have a wrong theology anyway.
