I've already finished calling the Evangelicals, I'll be taking the Catholic's money next. Just tell them it's prayer money for 'the Troops' and they'll bend over backwards for you.

If I WERE a con artist..I would not go for the skeptics cuz` they have too much logic and no belief in a higher being. However, the church would be the logical victims because scams could be pulled off in the name of God..and with so many faithful and elderly..PIECE OF CAKE!! But, all GOOD scammers should think of the consequences! At some point...YOU WILL ANSWER TO A JUDGE.. and it won`t be in a federal courtroom!!

Well if it were you, Brendan, you would probably call the skeptics because although the Christians would be willing to give you more money than the other group, you wouldn't want to be forced to hear the name Jesus Christ unless it's a curse word, right?
Now as for my answer, of course I would call the Christians. Statistically in the USA Republican Christians donate more money to charity than any other taxpaying group in the country. Young, liberal, democratic skeptics donate the LEAST amount. It's just a matter of numbers.

I would call both. I would tell that athiests I was raising money to stamp out religion and I would tell the evangelicals I was raising money to spread God's word in poor countries. Always work BOTH sides of the street...that's how you get rich...

I would take the list that has the people in it that would most likely fall for my scam. Those people who will believe most everything I tell them without asking for evidence or proof.

That's obvious. You would call the evangelicals. Firstly, you wouldn't want to call anyone with the name "skeptic" in it.

Local evangelical church would be easy pickings.
Besides it's in my blood, raiding churches and taking their money. (That's a joke in case you can't tell. My ancestors were Norse.)

Theists are the easiest to scam. Just say you've got a new product endorsed by Jesus and you will be a millionaire by week's end.
