It might be some time soon, but it's hard to determine an exact date, or time. As the bible clearly states, nobody knows the hour. Only God knows the day and the hour. If you read the Bible, you can find several entry's that talk about signs that will be seen. Some of those things are wars, probably things that have to do with nature, also how families turn against each other, killing each other, not only that, but as we see, many people are trying to substitute the Lords Word fro science. People are awed by the new things that science can do, and they are putting their faith in science rather than God. Be it as it may, I know for sure that God created us because until today, I have not seen a monkey turn human, so where does that leave the theory of men coming from monkeys. Lol. Anyway, I hope I helped you. Good luck. You can visit the webpage I posted below so you can read about what I wrote you, here is where you can find the information about wars, and nation against nation. I hope it helps.

Very very soon. The signs are all pointing there. The prophecies of Matthew 24 are all coming to fruition. It's definitely an exciting time we're living in.
I'll make a strong guess that Jesus will return and end this world not long after the last person whom God choses to save becomes saved. There is only a limited amount of people that will ever become saved and once all those whom God plans to save becomes saved, there is no more need to continue this world. I suspect that's also the reason why the effectiveness of the gospel is also pinched off near Christ's return.
In essence the last of Israel crosses over the Red Sea and the next thing to happen is Judgment.

Well I'm sure you will still get those answers. Anyway, I do think that the end is near. Look at this world now. It's a horrible place and it says that in the end the world will be a horrible place to live. Mothers killing their children, children killing their parents, the weather, the murder rate is increasing by the minute, should I go on? I just can't see the world getting any worse. And if this world can't get any worse by human error, God will take over and the tribulation will start.

Well, we are the right generation, so I personally believe maybe by or before 2037(using the latest date of 1967 for Israel as a nation - 1967 is when they captured Jerusalem - adding 70 year generation opposed to the 40 year would make approx 2037).
First the rapture of believers has to happen (which could be anytime, no prophecies have to happen before that can happen) After the rapture, their will be the 7 year tribulation. After that, Jesus will make his 2nd coming.
No one can know when for sure, but there are signs set for us to know it is close. The above is just and idea, I do not dwell on it, as I said, no one know but the father.

I think just technologically speaking, most everything is now in place for the things described in Revelation to happen. Jesus said that no man would know the hour or the day; I would guess no longer than 40 years, maybe 50. That IS just a guess, of course!

I am a Christian who believes that the Book of Revelation was written in a style of literature common 2,000 years ago called Apocalyptic. It was written in code to the early Christians awaiting the end of their lives as martyrs. It does not talk about the end of the world for us but for them.

The sun has another 5-6 billion years before going red giant and frying the earth. The universe has another 15-25 billion years before reverting to a super singularity.

I think God does things in his own timing, when he wants to. There isn't anything that needs to happen first. We are simply walking on the line waiting for God's timing to push us off into the final days.

I think it will be soon, may be within 50 years. So many things are happening, which the bible predicted. It is exciting but frightening. That mean get right, and stay right.
