I've been on the internet all afternoon, trying to find some Buddhist, Sikh, Jewish, and Islam scriptures that demonstrate the personal need for generosity and charity. I found one for Hinduism, but I'm stuck on everything else. I know that there's such a broad spectrum of people on the internet, so I'm hoping that one of you could help me.

The gallup poll found in the link below has some interesting findings. "These responses suggest that the negative impression held by many [about Mormons] may be a fairly straightforward result of disagreements on doctrine."

Because someone disagrees with another on doctrinal matters do they look negatively upon the other? Wouldn't that be wrong? In a country that prides itself in diversity and freedom to practice one's religion are people negatively judging people based on their individual beliefs? And not just based on their beleifs, but on the fact that they don't hold their beliefs.

Another interesting part of this poll was the most common thing that came to peoples minds was polygamy, which hasn't even been practiced in the Mormon church for nearly 120 years. Apparently people still think it happens. Odd.

What makes our country great is the diverse views and beliefs. I don't judge someone because of their belief and respect all people.

I admit it. I can't stand them. To me, they're just stupid, idiotic, sheltered, narrow minded, superstitious retards spewing their dogma out at everyone they cross. I call them names. Jesus freaks, Bible thumpers, Cross clutchers, etc. I can't help it. It seems like you can't have a conversation with them because they always end up trying to convert you. It annoys me. It's sort of a problem, because living in the bible belt, you live, work, shop around these people every day. So I'm asking you now, what can I do to be a little more tolerant of them? Surely they can't all be insane. All I want is to be able to talk to some friends without getting into an all out battle over religion. Thoughts?

Is it during Your "Night Time", that the comedians and haters take over the Answers R&S category? The boozers and other assorted losers? The Self-Destructive Ones, waking from thier mindless slumbers?

To know what forever is, implies that God knows all, therefore placing a limit on the size of forever since it can be known.

Thus, we arrive at this contradiction:

Forever cannot be measured. God measures forever.

Forever can only be forever as long as it has no limits.
But implying that God knows forever, is like saying God contains forever, therefore forever becomes finite, which is an uber contradiction in itself.

Does this disprove God? Or does it disprove forever?

Doesn't that make people feel they can do whatever they want because all they have to do is ask for forgiveness? No matter the crime. For those who go to church every sunday, I am talking about in general so this includes people who are christian but don't know much about the religion.

I wandered into a church a few weeks ago because I was sleepy and I needed to rest for a few minutes.
I sat in a pew and fell asleep. Soon, someone nudged me and handed me a plate full of money.
I took off before they realized I wasn't a member of the church.
Since then, I've been able to gather enough to take my family out for the evening, and we've started a collection of some really interesting dishes.
