The main population of monkeys, experiencing different natural selection criteria than our ancestors, gave rise to the modern monkeys we see today."
I just read that in an earlier question, and just wanted to know if evolutionists actually believe what was stated. And is the term 'modern monkeys' acceptable to you?

I noticed that you rarely see someone make a big deal out of any of the hundreds of religions as much as Christianity. Is it the faith itself, the people? Why are they hated so much?

Scientists look at our universe and it isn't adding up like they think it should. In order to explain everything, they have come up with a concept called dark matter. That most of the matter in the universe is invisible. You can see the effects of this dark matter but you cannot touch it, see it, smell it, manipulate it, or prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that it exists. The scientific community is very comfortable accepting the theory because it explains what they are seeing. And it very well may exist.

My point is, though, when a Christian uses this same logic about the existence of God we are told by atheists we are foolish for believing in something that we cannot see, touch, smell, taste, or prove exists. We can see the effects of God around us. We can see how He works in our lives but we cannot PROVE that He exists. But we accept His existence because it explains very well what we see in the world around us. Same logic but Christians are called foolish. Go figure.

Consider the violent acts of church-going folks in the segregated South. Consider other examples of godly people acting in wrong ways. Perhaps religious morality needs to be revised.

let's say someone murdered many people during his life and raped many people too. then before he dies he accepts Jesus as his lord and accepts him as the son of God(or God).

will he enter heaven without getting punished?(notice that many christians say that Jesus died for our sins so according to this, this man have done nothing wrong and didn't commit any sin because he accepted Jesus).

If you have no belief in a higher being or an afterlife, what incentive is there (if any) to be a 'good person' while you're alive? I ask this from the point of view that there aren't any consequences for your actions (according to you belief) outside of secular law (imprisonment). But there are a lot of legal, but totally immoral things you still can do, so what stops you from doing them?

How can people explain when in Genesis, God banished Adam & Eve's son, Cain. Cain left and found another city and married and had children. Where did these other people come from? And where did the other races come from? Did one race evolve into another race? So does that mean that some races are more evolved than another? A question still waiting to be answered.

This was my answer to another question, and I thought it would make a better question. I am not ridiculing anyone's beleifs, I am just curious on how Christians explain this to non-beleivers. Thank You!
