You will recall that one of the sacraments is confession - and the reason we continue to sin is that man was given by God self-determination, and sometimes, we choose to sin. People swear, people steal (even if it is downloading a song or an image file), people check out married individuals' of the opposite sex - does it make us a horrifying race of individuals? I don't believe so. Could we do better? Surely we can.

I think you are confusing GOD and Jesus to be the same. Jesus is the son of GOD and I do not agree with what you stated because we all are sinners regardless. We have to learn to live by the commandments and accept Christ as our Lord and Savior. Sometime we don't know if we sinned unless we know the end results were negative. Now at times we do things that we know we shouldn't and that is temptation. We have to continue to pray for forgiveness and try not to repeat our wrong doings. Yes Jesus did die on the cross for us but he didn't ask to be placed on that cross did he? Instead he prayed for them and you should continue to pray for those who do wrong against you and other people. May God Continue to bless you.

Because we are still in the flesh and the sin nature still exists. We are forgiven, yes, that work is done and finished. But, as believers, sin should have a lesser and lesser control in our lives as we mature in Christ. Sin breaks fellowship with God, it does not condemn us. We, as believers, should always desire that fellowship, that walking with God, and therefore, quickly admit our sin to God and restore it.

We sin because its what we do. We sin because we have free will. We were given a bunch of rules to follow but we choose to do out own thing.

You mean "Is God good? if you are asking a question.
I think God is fictional and because fictional things can be anything you want them to be then God is probably not always good, mainly becuase people the people who invent him again and again as they want him to be are not always good.
