Does anyone have a copy of the speech he gave when McArthur's Park in Southern California was named after him in 1955 after WWll?

Is that who it is named after? Well I never.
Was it him who left the cake out?
I bet he was well pleased that it became an iconic part of the hippy movement, but somehow it seems very fitting.
