The punishment for apostasy (riddah) is well-known in Islaamic Sharee’ah. The one who leaves Islaam will be asked to repent by the Sharee’ah judge in an Islaamic country; if he does not repent and come back to the true religion, he will be killed as a kaafir and apostate, because of the command of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "Whoever changes his religion, kill him." (Reported by al-Bukhaari, 3017).

My freind is joining the Nat. Guard. He doesn't know if he wants to go through with it. He is a christian. He doesn't know if GOD approves of him going to war. He is very confused. He is a preacher. He knows what God wants him to do. He is just uncertain if going to the Nat. Guard is apart of that or not. He doesn't know if he can serve the Goverment and God. He worry's about it so much. He only joined it for money so he wouldn't be broke when he got out of school. Please give me some feed back thank you.. Greatly appreciated. May God Bless!

im not a christian im agnostic. but i see all these questions that are like "what keeps atheists from running around murderering and raping".

my question is, if it was proven that god didnt exist, would christians then go do these acts? what stops them?

(pointing out, COMMON SENSE, no you wouldnt go rape and kill just because god doesnt exist. your morals would still exist regardless of a god)

Through family I have come to find out about this group called "The Church of Christ" they don't believe in musical instruments in church because they say the new test doesn't mention them, the females are not permitted to cut their hair, they must also wear skirts at all times AND they believe they and THEY alone are the true church. They believe they have gone back to the bible (un-like everyone else) and have become just like the first Church. They also believe in ONE cup communion (like Jesus...they say), if you use more than one cup you are worshipping wrong. ALL spiritual gift, healing, tounges, etc (1st Cor 13) have all ended due to a mis-quoted verse...1st Cor 13:8...that which is in part etc.

anyone hear of this group??

God was proven to be false?

would u do as you claim atheists do, go around and rape and pillage, murder and steal, hate and create chaos, because your god has been proven false? would you really lose all sense of morality?
