In case you unfamiliar with the Bible. Moses did not come down from the mountain and tell the Jews everything. What it says is God spoke to everyone - the whole nation, about 3 million people at the time. This was how the 10 commandments were told, until the people requested that since it was too great to hear God that Moses then transmit the rest - something you might not figure out so I'll leave that for now. So here we have 3 million people say, I heard God.
Before talking about other religions, I'll continue with this topic. Getting 3 million people to make up a lie is pretty hard. I also think the mass of that number shows a lot. That is more people who could personally comment on a historical event and has higher probability of existance via testimony than Napoleon has that he existed.
Now, maybe a few people made up the 3 million story and say it happened a long time ago? The answer is simple, no one would believe it. Where did they all go. The could not have just disappeared, the Jews are historically accounted for, as is their history, being consistent with their claims. There would have been no time or way for a village to make up this lie and show up in history as a couple million and take over Israel.
That is just one point of many.
Now the other two religions came after and reflect on Judaism. So along comes Jesus who has a new way. The trouble is that the Bible says that there will be no new Bible and that God does not have a physical form. Furthermore, Jesus miracles e.g. resurection (are claimed to have) occured before a small group.
Islam doesn't say there is a new but the old way was lost. Apparently there was a religion which became modified into what Judaism is and that Islam is the real way and was regiven to mankind via Muhammad. I have trouble with that one because I won't base my life on something one guy says - Muhammad. He claims that God told him all these things and I have no reason to believe him, especially over a people with a tradition going back to the testimony of 3 million.

Of all of these religions, Islam's holy book, the Qu'ran, is the only one that hasn't been changed at all. The Torah and the Bible, however, have been changed many times, and are still being revised today. There is blatant evidence that there are different versions of the Bible. Randomly select any two Bibles in the world, and you are guaranteed they are different versions. With opinion and deletion of violent verses, addition of verses that would make the religion seem better in order to win converts, and revision of verses to satisfy the author and readers to tell them what they WANT to hear and not the real thing, alter the original teachings, etc. etc. This can all lead to a corrupted religion. That is why Christianity came to the world; Judaism was corrupted. Then Christianity became corrupted, so Islam took over. Since then, no other monotheistic religion has been established by God due to a corrupted religion, because Islam was/is not corrupted. If you read the Qu'ran, you will see that everything will make perfect sense and it is a perfect book. You will also learn that what you see on TV and read in the newspapers that the MEDIA presents to you is just all misleading, inaccurate accusations of the religion of Islam, and the true religion of Islam does not practice terrorism and the like. The few misguided followers who call themselves Muslims and commit acts actually forbidden in Islam in the name of God, such as terrorism, is looked at as Islam being practiced correctly, when in fact it is not. Please watch this very interesting video, it presents FACTS about Islam and questions the media's hate and bias towards Muslims, and is also partly my source.

Through the vehicle of prophecy, God throws down the gauntlet to all the other "holy books" and all the other "gods" that dare to claim the title. The God of the Bible challenged in Isaiah 41:22-23,
"Let them bring forth and show us what will happen; let them show the former things, what they were, that we may consider them, and know the latter end of them; or declare to us things to come. Show the things that are to come hereafter, that we may know that you are gods; yes, do good or do evil, that we may be dismayed and see it together."
OK, there is the challenge from the God of the Bible. No other book contains prophecy that has been fulfilled with accuracy. Some would say that others twist scripture interpretation to make prophecy "appear" to be fulfilled. A silly notion, seeing that so many of these prophecies (that were fulfilled to the letter) were found among the Dead Sea Scrolls--written many years before fulfillment. I have written one study based on one chapter in Daniel. In it can be found 16 in-depth prophecies regarding the rise of Alexander the Great and the subsequent rule of his generals afterward. I have paralleled the prophecy with the fulfillment from historic literature. You can find the study in the link below.
This study only covers one chapter. There are hundreds more regarding the coming of the Messiah, the calling of Cyrus the Mead by name to allow the rebuilding of the temple in Jerusalem, and the re-establishment of the nation of Israel.
Note that an event like this has never happened before in all of history. In fact, Robert Anderson who was the inspector for Scotland Yard (who caught Jack the Ripper) took the book of Daniel as providing the date Messiah was to come. His incredible calculations pinpointed the DAY Jesus rode in to Jerusalem. For this, he was knighted by Queen Victoria and became Sir Robert Anderson. However, he read other prophesies regarding Israel becoming a nation again and thought that this was WAY too preposterous. No nation, after being conquered and scattered, EVER returned again to form a nation and a people. So it must have had some "allegorical" meaning to it. Well, in 1948, Sir Robert Anderson was proven wrong. Sir Robert Anderson believed the Bible, but his doubt in a wild claim such as Israel becoming a nation was too much for him. THAT is how accurate prophecy is. Before the fulfillment took place, Anderson assumed it was wrong (having lived in the Victorian era pre 1948). He twisted nothing, but assumed it was something else entirely.
Isaiah 34:16
"Search from the book of the LORD, and read: Not one of these shall fail; Not one shall lack her mate. For My mouth has commanded it, and His Spirit has gathered them."
2 Peter 1:16-21 (condensed)
For we did not follow cunningly devised fables when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of His majesty...and so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place...for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.

no, but there is "proof" that it is the right religion for me. it does not conflict with any of my beliefs and has improved my relationship with my husband and my children. it has made me spiritually aware in a way that i have not been since i was a child.
i would think that most people feel the same way about any spiritual belief that they have choosen for themselves.
(makes me sad that you have to put "be respectful" - especially on a question specifically addressed to those who are part of spiritual communities.)

Religion has been the biggest, most bloodthirsty gang in the history of murdering, life disrespecting, mobs. More lives have been tourcherd and murdered in the "name of god" then any other genocidal maniacs. Don't question their 'gods' if you know what's good for you.

My mother's favorite quote is, "To a person that knows, no explanation is needed. To a person that does not, no explanation is possible."
To everyone their faith is the true one and you can't always explain it.
I saw a movie once where a professor of philosophy had student come up and convince that God exists. One woman said that she could no more prove to him that God exists than he could prove to her that He doesn't.
