God gives us a lifetime in which to obey Him. Since none of us know how long we will live, we are to be ready to go at all times. The only way that God will save someone on his deathbed is if that person can obey the plan of salvation before they die and that includes baptism. I'm afraid too many people wait until it is too late to obey God.They only have themselves to blame if they don't make it to heaven.

Would you if you had the power to do so?
If you did, and they didn't worship you in the way you expect, then would you feel that you wasted you compassion?
Would you be accused of showing favoritism to one who was not a worshiper, and someone who worshiped you their entier lives died leaving grieving families behind?
It creates more problems and violates your principles, so why would people except God to do something that they themselves will not.

Sho-Nuff, it depends on the situation. Sometime He gives them an last opportunity and they choose to ignore it and then they end up dead.
