Is this a day to save life or to destroy it?

Jesus responded: "But you would not have condemned my innocent disciples if you knew the meaning of this Scripture: ‘I want you to show mercy, not offer sacrifices.’ For the Son of Man is Lord, even over the Sabbath!”
Interesting how the 7th Day Adventists are on the Pharisees side on this question.

It is for doing good:
Matthew 12:11,12 - And he said unto them, What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift it out?
How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days.
When is the Sabbath and how shall we keep it holy?
Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: 10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: 11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it. Exodus 20:8-11
And God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it. Genesis 2:1-3
Seventh Day Adventist follow the Bible and keep the Seventh Day Holy.

Actually, it's late Friday night to late Saturday Night, and that means PARTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
P.S.
No one observes the Sabbath, except Orthodox Jews. Ask a Christian, and he will say it's Sunday, which is the ancient Roman day to worship the Solar Gods.
Christians have forgotten the Sabbath, and they don't keep it 'holy'.
Most of them can't do anything right.

The ACTUAL law says to not work at all on the Sabbath, the result of breaking this law is to be stoned to death. (Ex35:2)
So I guess it is a day to to destroy life for the person who is saving a life?
