It's amazing how many atheists and agnostics are in a forum for religion!
Either they are seeking something that is missing in their lives in which case they are surely on the right track, or they are the pawns of Satan with nothing better to do that push their beliefs on the religious. Notice how they don't want the religious pushing beliefs on them yet they feel free to attack the beliefs of others.

Absolutely. I will stand up for Him.
Jesus was not a messenger. He is the Word made flesh. He is every bit God. God personally came to earth to do what we ourselves were incapable of doing.
For that I owe Him my heart, my soul and He is welcome to my life if it is His will.
You won't find His bones in a box. At best you will find a clever ruse/con intended to boost the sales of a so-called documentary intended to create controversy and ratings.
The Bible states very clearly that on the third day, the tomb was found to be empty.
I am a scientist and I know that there is no proof of the existence of God. But just because there is no proof that something exists, does not prove that it does not exist.
God asks us to be dependent on Him and accept and believe in Him on faith. How can there be faith if there is proof. They are exclusive of each other. One who has faith does not seek proof. One who has proof can not have faith.

Yes, I believe in God - in fact I have a relationship with Him.
God is the Creator of all things!
He sent His Son Jesus to die on the cross, and take the punishment which you and I deserved.

I live for Him, I would also die for Him.

When God ordered Abraham to slay his son in order to test his obedience to and belief in Him, Abraham almost did and only stopped when God canceled his order.

If God ordered you to do the same thing, would you obey him? If you did, wouldn't your conscience bother you that you harmed your son, an innocent child that you loved? You'd be convicted as a child murderer and cursed by everyone. If you didn't obey, then you must not have believed in God as you thought you did.

I would never obey anyone to harm my child for any reason so I guess I do not believe in God as I had assumed I did.

I believe in God, not with all my heart, but with my all. And ya, I'm standing up for Him right now.

Yes, and He is perfectly able to stand up for Himself. He doesn't need people to protect Him by stepping on other peoples' freedoms.

Nope, I don't. No reason to believe in a mythical figure. To me, believing in the Christian-Judeo God (or any deity, for that matter) is as pathetic as believing in Zeus. There's absolutely no reason for believing in something there is no proof of.
