and another person disagrees with that statement, the other person sometimes calls the statement "having it shoved down their throats"? What ever happened to freedom of speech and the right to live life as one sees fit without having to hide who you are?
I know that not everyone does this, and I mean this for non-Christians who feel that any statement on Christianity is 'having religion shoved down their throat as well as Christians who feel that gays and lesbians who actually publicly acknowledge the fact that they are gay, and dare to want equal rights with straights, are 'forcing them to accept the gay lifestyle' or some nonsense.
(I almost wrote 'shoving the gay lifestyle down their throats' but that seemed... well.. yanno. hahahhaha) Or anyone who can't tolerate differential expressions of opinion.
Why not just live and let live? Turn off the TV or turn the page in the newspaper if you see something you don't like... no one is forcing you to watch/read/ whatever.

Maybe I have not been very clear in my question, so here I'll try again:
Part of our discussion was: can it be a matter of translation if gays go to heaven?

I Cor 6:9 Do you not know that the sinful will not inherit the kingdom of God?
Do not be deceived!
Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor boy molesters nor thieves nor the greedy…

Therefore the Bible seems to be targeted to the one’s that hurt other’s, meaning it is mentioned to protect boys from predators, not oppose grown men that are in love with another man

Any ideas, or even better: does anybody know a good translation?

A Catholic eats meat on a Friday of lent, knowing full well that it is a sin according to Catholicism. He isn't sorry at all. He dies in an accident an hour later. Otherwise, he has lead a very good life (ie. never stole, respected his parents, never murdered, etc). Since he is guilty of mortal sin and he died without confessing it, is he in Hell with Hitler, who is responsible for the deaths of millions of people?

So guy A. eats meat on Friday on purpose without feeling sorry. Guy B. (hitler) is responsible for killing millions of people. Both are in Hell? Right?

I would like to confess a few things in a church in the confession booth this weekend. Does anyone know which churches have it and do they judge you or help you out when you confess? I really need help and I am willing to do anything to get out of this mess I'm in.

One of the most important questions is the existence of God.
Still, I am amazed that millions of people believe in such fantasy as God creating man and women, the Earth, the Sea, the Sky etc. When so much can be explained scientifically i.e evolution of man, the big bang theory etc why do people still shroud themselves in this fantasy? I mean, ignorance IS bliss, i know, but come on people wake up! Open your eyes! Religion IS Ignorance, is going through life with this pseudo-invincibility cloak really worth subjecting yourself to a fantasy land? Theres more to life then believing...

In Christianity neither morality nor religion come into contact with reality at any point.

The Bible says if we have seen the Son (i.e. Jesus) we have seen God [in Him and through Him] right?

So, if God is in US it would that not clearly mean that if others have also SEEN us ... they have SEE the Son (Jesus), because He is IN US?
[NOTE: When we truly live for Him as we should?]

If someone asks me to prove Jesus to them. I simply say, "You're looking at Him, not because I am Him, but because He is IN ME! I allow Him to work through me all the time, when I minister, when I help someone in need, when I feed someone hungry, visit someone in jail, or cloth someone who needs clothing, etc. AND, when I do these things unto those in need? I am doing TITHING unto God, because He said if we do for the least of people, we have done it unto Him."

If they ask me to prove God, I tell them, "If you have seen me you have seen Jesus in me and through me, and if you have then seen Jesus in and through me ... you have ALSO seen God because He is made manifest as Jesus.

The most recent one I heard of is Bob Woodruff's NDE. The ABC reporter was severely injured in Iraq and, quote, "When the IED actually exploded, I don't remember that...But I do remember at that moment I saw my body floating below me and … a whiteness … I just saw something."

The theory of evolution is not perfect. The theory of creationism is not perfect. Materialsm, Capitalism, Spiritualism...are not perfect.
Why the advocates of each theory keep on claiming exclusive possessors of truth and reject the others.
Should we not realize that life is very complicated, and cooperation with each other to improve the old or devise a more advanced theory which can satisfy the physical, intellectual and spiritual thirst of all mnkind for about one thousand years?
And then we will devise a better one...in the voluntary agreement instead of in eliminating each other.
I think I have learnt about a theory like that from people who are thousands of times purer, more kindly and more knowledgeable than me. Do you want me to introduce it to you personally? I will answer only to individuals, because the masses cannot make patient and careful consideration about it.

Raising an unwanted child is a sin. Adoption is not an answer because the practice of raising unwanted children is expensive in human life. That is because raising an unwanted fetus costs at least $70,000 and the same money could be used to extend the life of 5 wanted and loved humans. To save one fetus is to kill 5 humans.
The strongest moral support for abortion is found in the phrase "do unto others as you would have them do unto you". It is moral to abort a fetus, if you would not want to be a burden in a similar situation. To do otherwise is a sin. I know that if I were the fetus of a rapist who was a multiple murderer I would not want to burden the raped woman with my life. For me the same can be said of being an unloved child, a child that forces my family into poverty or numerous other situations. But I realize some are not so unselfish. To them it is ok to be a selfish burden on everyone else. Pro lifers will force a fetus to life, though it kills 5 other humans.
