Sometimes it's hard for people to hear the "truth", so they cling to what they like as a defense.

liking and agreeing with something are entirely different matters. i can like the answers of some people on this forum; it doesn't mean i agree with what they believe in.
'agreeing with' implies you find some sort of logical consistency with whatever you're agreeing with, i.e. some manner of truth.
liking it just means it makes you feel good.
anyway... i like ice cream, but the truth is too much of it makes me fat. i like the idea of an afterlife, but i find it has no basis in truth. i like the idea of karma, but likewise i find the concept untrue. true wisdom comes from a search for truth, not just following what makes you feel good. but the knowledge you attain, well, that can be pretty likeable too.

Recent archaeological surveys have shown a world wide flood occurred at around the time the bible contends Noah's great flood occurred. In addition, many of the stories of Moses, David, and Jesus are in some ways backed up by contemporary non-biblical sources.

The Truth is the most important.
But what makes you believe that you will find the truth in any religion ( includes science)????
Religion - call it Christianity,Buddhism, science, culture or whatever - is as you say - just faith.
Get over with it and start searching for The Truth.

What's wrong with you? Seems you have it all backwards my little science friend. Evolution or science makes you soothed...but where's the faith??
It has NO, ZERO faith basis...it's science...get over it.

Thats the good part of it. You guys try to tear down everything with science and it ALWAYS fails because there are some things God didn't want man to know and the sooner you can accept that the easier life will be.
Quit worrying about the small stuff hero

it's not difficult to comprehend the relationship b/w time and space, and how different velocities and foldings can yield different properties of that space- one being what you would call god.

The truth. Which is why I think I can't find God. (Not sure yet, still pondering.)
