The Bible says if we have seen the Son (i.e. Jesus) we have seen God [in Him and through Him] right?

So, if God is in US it would that not clearly mean that if others have also SEEN us ... they have SEE the Son (Jesus), because He is IN US?
[NOTE: When we truly live for Him as we should?]

If someone asks me to prove Jesus to them. I simply say, "You're looking at Him, not because I am Him, but because He is IN ME! I allow Him to work through me all the time, when I minister, when I help someone in need, when I feed someone hungry, visit someone in jail, or cloth someone who needs clothing, etc. AND, when I do these things unto those in need? I am doing TITHING unto God, because He said if we do for the least of people, we have done it unto Him."

If they ask me to prove God, I tell them, "If you have seen me you have seen Jesus in me and through me, and if you have then seen Jesus in and through me ... you have ALSO seen God because He is made manifest as Jesus.

Jewel, I agree with you. I believe you are right on target in that they are truly seeing Jesus or God by the fruit which is produced and demonstrated by each one of us who have given our life to Him. The type of demonstration you are referring to cannot be accomplished in a diligent manner without Christ in our lives. Inwardly, we are wall to wall Holy Spirit which is in The Likes of Jesus or God as The Holy Spirit is that Triune part of God Himself. For someone who really is walking with Him, It's a walk of love in a different dimension than the world knows, a dimension in Christ Himself. PEACE!!!

P. S. Jewel, you are a very pretty child of God! PEACE!!!

The Word became flesh and dwelt among us ,We have seen his Glory the glory of the one and only who came from the father, full of Grace and Truth John1:14

We are in Christ and Christ is in the father and we are somtimes the only Jesus that some people see , The world accepts the Darkness rather than the Light and its sorry to say that most of the time the world sees Jesus as Religion with its dos and donts and not as having a personel relationship with Christ .Faith Hope love

No, I do not agree. Here's why:
Yes, Jesus said that "if you have seen me you have seen the Father." Many people take that--incorrectly-- to mean that he IS God--part of a trinity. However, he also said, in a prayer TO his heavenly father, that he wished for his followers to be one, just as he and the father were one.--John 17:20, 21. If you say, that means Jesus and the Father are the same, then, by the same reasoning you have to say that he and his followers are the same. But of course, you know it means UNITED, not the same individual. Unless you believe the Bible contradicts itself, which I doubt, then you need to harmonize scriptures, not take one scripture to mean one thing and another to mean something else. I could pursue that point further, with a lot more scriptures, but don't want to take too much of your time.
Secondly, I'm not sure which scripture you're referring to when you say that Jesus/God is within you. The only one I can think of is Luke 17:21, where Jesus said that the "kingdom is within you." However, he certainly didn't mean INSIDE of each one of us, because he was speaking at that time to the Pharisees. Would he say that to his opposers? No! He meant that the representative of that government--himself--was in their midst. Also, that kingdom is not a force within us, as a lot of people believe, but an actual government which will take action against its enemies.--Daniel 2:44
If you want to show the power of God in your life by the works that you do, excellent. One of the most effective witnesses to your beliefs, and a good way to attract people to it, is the way it makes you act.

If the Holy Spirit is inside us, then people should see God working inside us. Jesus said let your light shine before men that they may see your good works and praise God. Why else would they praise God for an others good works if they didn't recognize it as the work of God? God is working through the one who does good. I think you hit it right on the head.

Interesting way of phrasing it...
You're right in what you're saying.

Others are to see Jesus in the way we live our lives.

Ofcourse, the only problem with all of that is the world's interpretation of Jesus...what he did, or did NOT represent.

One person phrased it as "Love" - which is true.
Because God is love.

to quote scripture:
"Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love." 1 John 4:8

and to directly tie in with what you said, scripture also says:

"And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him." 1 John 4:16

God Bless.

I think it's noble to say that if they see anything good in us that it's from Jesus. I am quick to point out that I am not the living representation of Him as He was of the Father though. It's lovely that you give credit to Him, but I wonder if unregenerate people will understand what you mean. Does your pastor agree with this? Do you go to church? Do you know other believers who do this? Just wondering. :)

The Church is the Bride of Christ so maybe with the two being one flesh. It seems weird though huh because like Mrs. Johnson would not presume to be Mr. Johnson huh? I mean she wouldn't say when you've seen me, you've seen Mr. Johnson? Or would she?

I agree. People have said to me that I have a light about me and I believe this is Jesus shining thru me. My husband who was an atheist most of his life, is now a Christian (6 years now) also has this light around him.
