but really, holy water in Catholism is also silly. They really believe it becomes supernaturally charged with power which is not Biblical at all. It's okay to use water or oil symbolically for healing purposes but it itself does not have power.

Until recently (last Catholic reformation, i belief), the cardinals would gather the Popes excrement and make incense out of it (no sh!+). It was considered the rarest and most valuable incense a church could get.
