And how male bias was this? Were men ever tested for their virginity and stoned? Why not?
Even if they were "guilty", Was this a shining moment for God? Did he approve of this punishment for a 12 or 13 year old girl?

I went to a fortune teller on a dare when I was in my late twenties.
She told me I would die at age 63. I just found out that I have to have major surgery done on March 22. I will be 63 next week. Some of the other things she told me, have come true. Some not.
This has got me scared. Am I being silly. The surgery was originally scheduled for this month and they just changed it. She also told me I would come into money just before I die. I just inherited a home.

Christians act like they are terrified that any day now, an army of gay terrorists will break into their homes and shoot them with an evil death laser that will magically turn them into homosexuals. And so they devote countless hours and dollars to making life hell for gay/lesb people, and justify it by saying it's what God wants. Yet in the meantime they do nothing about the fact that half the world is being torn apart by war and poverty, and that millions of Americans are homeless, starving and uneducated. They do nothing about the fact that corporate greed is poisoning the planet and destroying the economy. They do nothing about the fact that the government is overpowered and violating the spirit in which it was created. In fact, they praise Bush for ignoring all these things as if Bush was God himself, and why? Because he hates homosexuality as much as they do. If I'm not mistaken, Jesus's original message was one of love. How is it that a non christian knows that and they do not?

i keep yelling at her and throw them away, but she always manages to get new ones from her friends. i tried hanging crosses in her room, i put a picture of Jesus over her cot. yet i still find pictures of heathenistic gods, and small statues when i do my weakly rummaging through her stuff. what should i do to stop her from bringing these cursed things into my pure christian home? any suggested punishments? Seems like a rape violation to me, then blugoning a young girl to death for their "determination" which is laughable.

Im not religious, but I've noticed, as Im sure many of you have, that Islam is being praised and its the opposite for Christianity. It seems that just a few years ago, this wouldn't have been a question, but since 9/11, the Islam community has blown up (no pun intended!). Why after such a tragedy, would so many people turn toward a religion that has such a stigma?

...Do you trust their judgement back then, knowing how ignorant people were only a few hundred years ago about anatomy, especially of women?
These are life and death determinations,
it would mean burying a 12 year old girl up to her waste in the dirt and throwing large rocks at her head and face until she was blugoned to death...
or maybe you really don't know what "stoning" entails.

I study in a convent and a nun told us that the story of Adam and Eve is not true and that It was just made up to show the people how man disobeyed God. Is it really true?

why even when presented with facts do some people still blindly ignore then ?
a question was asked about people hating Jesus .... many answered that they do not hate Jesus ( all but one person )
