Look at what we've done to it, if you believe in the teachings of Genesis. We have rendered forms of life extinct through arrogance of superiority, we have destroyed entire ecosystems etc. etc.
Is that what God meant?

This surprisingly common argument reflects several levels of ignorance about evolution. The first mistake is that evolution does not teach that humans descended from monkeys; it states that both have a common ancestor.

The deeper error is that this objection is tantamount to asking, "If children descended from adults, why are there still adults?" New species evolve by splintering off from established ones, when populations of organisms become isolated from the main branch of their family and acquire sufficient differences to remain forever distinct. The parent species may survive indefinitely thereafter, or it may become extinct.

Like neanderthal man, the various Homo - ...

What are these supposed to be then, if not man's pre-evolutionary forms?

This has probably been asked before but I never saw it, so excuse it if it's a stale question.

Well its obvious you cant not hire someone because of their religion, age, race, etc but what would happen in a case if like a satan worshipper wanted to be a pastor? I mean Ive known people who knew the bible front to back and everything, preached about it but were pure evil. So what would happen if they studied to become a preacher, etc then went for the job but the pastor/church KNEW the person was the exact opposite?

The water that is used in batism, blessings, in that little bowl when your go into a Catholic church etc. . . . how is that water made holy or blessed for the purpose of ceremonies ?

That water had to come from a regular source as all water comes from rain from the sky originally. That water is gathered and is drank for thirst, used to wash face, used for cooking . . . used in a church for blessings.

The water that is used in a church for ceremonies...what is the literal process that is performed / conducted that that same water that could be used cooking, drinking etc. is now DEEMED suitable for holy or blessed ceremonies. ?

I'm spiritual...not so much religious while still very respectful of all faiths and religions, live in authentic Truth and Love of God, Jesus Christ and Spirit and am asking this question honestly and respectfully as truly curious to know. Thanks.

I don't believe in those superstitious miracles contained in the Bible, but I do believe that Christianity has a state-of-the-art ethic: "Love ye one another". Isn't that enough. Do you have to demand belief in miracles for the message to be devine?
