Yes. No one has the right to tell a woman what to do with her body. And if it we outlawed abortion there would be even more deaths involved because of all the "back alley" abortions that would take place.
I do not like abortion. It should NEVER be used as birth control. And I'm not sure it would be something that I could ever do if I found myself in those circumstances. There are lots of great families waiting to adopt children and since I was adopted I lean more towards that route. BUT....I am still pro-choice on the abortion topic.

right here is an basic question that the horribly misnamed professional-lifers will not be able to respond to. How would the regulation differentiate between a criminal heavy era and an unlawful self-brought about aborting w/o requiring that each and each single American who menstruates pass to a medical institution ,unfold her legs and characteristic a pelvic examination completed by skill of a healthcare expert w/ a cop watching to be sure if the reason of the blood and tissue popping out of her vagina replace into an harmless act of God or a malicious act of guy ? have relaxing with that Btw once you are the guy in that female's existence the regulation will require you to blow the whistle on her or danger being punished for not reporting a criminal have relaxing with that too Then there is the little subject of miscarriages a female comes to a decision to get an unlawful abortion at 6 weeks submit theory She gets caught and all in contact get the utmost that the regulation will allowed whether if she did not make that determination then the fetus would miscarried at 8 weeks submit-theory. subsequently you achieved a female for killing something that replace into by no skill going to be alive . actuality If left undisturbed over 50% of all fertilized human eggs will by no skill see the sunshine of day .

Yes, up to a certain stage of pregnancy.
Procreation is an ongoing process which can be interrupted at any point, right from not having sex in the first place, through contraception, and drugs which prevent implantation, to abortion anywhere up to the moment of birth.
Somewhere along that process, most people would have a point where they consider it's OK to interfere to prevent the birth of a baby up to that point, but not afterwards - e.g. abstinence is OK, but contraception isn't.... or contraception is OK, but abortion isn't... or abortion is OK but only up to week 20... or whatever. It's simply a matter of conscience where you personally decide to draw the line, and on what basis.
For myself, I cannot accept that an undifferentiated bunch of cells has more rights than the fully grown adults who are responsible for its existence. I also cannot accept that it's right to kill a foetus when it's fully developed and due to be born. Logically then, there has to be a point somewhere in between that I decide, on the basis of conscience, is the point at which abortion becomes unacceptable. I don't know enough about it to have a definite view where that point lies, but it must lie somewhere in the 9 months of pregnancy. It's in the nature of life that there are no easy answers to this kind of question, as it's a matter of subjective opinion rather than objective fact - and my opinion is that abortion cannot be wrong, per se. Therefore it should be legal, up to a certain point.

No, for three reasons. First, taking the life of an unborn child is no different than taking the life of a person who has been born. Whether or not the unborn child is of an age where he or she can live outside of the mother's body is not the issue. Many older people or physically or mentally handicapped people are not capable of taking care of themselves or even feeding themselves and we would not consider killing them deliberately. Allowing someone to die a natural death is one thing when their body is no longer able to function without the use of machines, but taking the life of a blossoming child is sinful. Reason 2: Having respect for human life is one of the most important social responsibilities that we must have in order to have a decent society. It is at the very core of what is good for us as a society. Third: Women who have had abortions for convenience sake have overwhelmingly reported feeling a tremendous sense of guilt and regret after the fact. Not always immediately, but often as the years pass they can't help but wonder what that child would have been like.

I don't really think that abortion is the significant issue.
How about careless pregnancies?
How can we stand here and pontificate about abortions, when as a nation, we dance around the following with our hands over our eyes?
The teen pregnancy rate in the US is 9 times.....9 TIMES! that of the Netherlands, where they take sex education seriously.
As long as we deny teens access to contraceptives, we are hypocrites to talk about abortion.

you can say whatever you like, but the fact is that the Christian God views abortion as little more than a misdemeanor:
Exodus 21:22-25:
"And if men struggle with each other and strike a woman with child so that she has a miscarriage, yet there is no [further] injury, he shall surely be fined as the woman’s husband may demand of him; and he shall pay as the judges decide. But if there is any [further] injury, then you shall appoint as a penalty life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, burn for burn, wound for wound, bruise for bruise."
BESIDES:
50% of all fertilized eggs do no come to term. 20% of all pregnancies end in miscarriage.
Doesn't that make God an abortionist?

Yes. It is the individual woman's body. No one else has the right to tell you what to do with it. The question I always pose to Pro-lifers: Lets say you were raped and it caused you to become pregnant. You would rather keep the baby, knowing where it came from, knowing that every time you set your eyes on it it would remind you of that horrible event, then not keep it, and attempt to move on with your life?

It is a choice of the mother to be, if she wants to abourt she should be allowed to. A woman who is raped has no right to abort. A woman who has sex, protected with a condom, that fails has no right to abort.
Women who wish abortions that are illegal end up taking extreme measures which can dammage thier own body ot kill them.
Abortions should be legal.
Also for the sake of the life that is forming. Will an unwanted child get the love it deserves and needs to grow up as a well adjusted person. Or if there is no abortion will the child be put up for adoption and have questions later in life of why my mother gave me away. Or will the mother try to take care of it but not wanting it in the first place not give full parenting and a destructive person is the result or a dead child because the mother didnt look after that child or take care of it properly.
There are people who say no to abortions you are taking a life, they should therefore be campaigning against guns, nuclear weapons and armies, alchahol and alot of other illegal substances.

First of all, IT IS LEGAL and it should be. Could you imagine all the unwanted children there would be? Our economy would probably colapse. The population would be as big as China's and there just isn't enough room in the US. Also, who is anyone to tell another person what they can or cannot do with their own bodies? All the pro-lifers who claim that it's murder all believe in the death penalty, which is murder. What a concept!

Absolutely not. It should not be legal because it is murder, plain, flat out, horrible, brutal, painful, cold-hearted murder. A baby is a person too, even before it is born, and when you get one, you're are consensually letting someone kill your child, your baby, the thing that was a part of you, it's horrible.
