How come people still insist on GENERALIZING CHRISTIANS?! Once again NOT ALL CHRISTIANS DO THE SAME AS OTHERS...therefore, not all of us do that! >.<

Nice generalization. I'm nice every day, not just on Sundays and "Holydays". The only time I'm NOT nice is if I'm really angry about something, and even then I'm very careful about how I let it show. I rarely raise my voice, and I don't usually swear.

Chibi--of all people who suffer from generalization, Christians DO NOT get it the worst. I mean, look at Muslims today. If you were educated and intelligent you would know that almost no Muslims practice/support terrorism and violence. Consider yourself lucky to be under that generalization and not under the one given to the Muslim world. Also look at the Wiccans. The generalization about them is that they are all evil satan worshippers who kill and destroy with black magic. What a pitiful generalization..who makes these things up?? I'm sure with basic logic and rationlity we can understand that that is not true for the vast majority of Wiccans.
I don't think that is true about Christians. Maybe that day they felt "closer to God" and decided to act nicely. But I don't think it is a thing of feeling obliged to act nicely because of the day.

Yet another massive generalization aimed at discrediting Christians. And like most generalizations, easily disproven by one exception.
I've got a news flash for someone -- I'm the same ornery old Christian curmudgeon on Monday as I am on Sunday, Easter, Christmas, or International Talk Like a Pirate day.
Yarrr! I be a Christian, and don't you be fergettin' it, either, laddie!

I have never noticed that. I do not think that you can lump any kind of group together. Everyone is different. Meaning also, that all Christians are different. And also you never know what someone is going through in their lives. We ALL must be understanding toward everyone at ALL times.

It's called talking the talk, but not walking the walk.
I've met so many people who think that if they play the role they will go to heaven. I think (if you believe in God) that you have to truly be a good person, all the way through your heart, your soul...your entire being. It's not about sitting in a church pew every Sunday, or joining church choir. It's about really truly and honeslty knowing in your heart that you are a good person.

well, there's a whopping generalization if ever i saw one...do you know what a Christian really is? there are lots of folks who claim to be Christians, and lots of them sitting in the pews every single sunday, and some even preaching at the pulpit...but that doesn't mean they ARE Christians...i could sit in the parking lot all day and yell 'beep-beep', but that doesn't make me a chrysler...there's a song that we used to sing that ended with 'and they'll know we are Christians by our love, by our love, yes they'll know we are Christians by our love'

That's not fair. I'm not a Christian: I'm Pagan, but I know plenty of wonderful Christians who are sweet every day of the week, and plenty of people in other religions who are jerkwads every day. But yes, people can often change their attitudes for different days, and it is aggravating.

there are close to 2 billion so called Christians in this world, now if they would all be good , we would have no wars, no crime, no people starving, right...............the problem is the ones teaching them. I think they, the preachers and priest and ministers should all go back to school and learn love.

This happens because these are the times wherein they're fully fed with the "teachings".
And oh, if you try to look at the entire laboratory table you'll see the true christians.
And uh, maybe your microscope is probably broken, too.
