Atheist and other faiths...Would you like to thank Christianity for bringing us all here? If it was not for the Congressional Committee all beings Christains then we would have all knids of taxes imposed on us. It says on the dollar, "God bless America." Do you agree with this statement? As an atheist, I have found great joy in giving freely, more optimism in knowing there is no angry sky man looking over my shoulder, and more freedom to enjoy this life fully without guilt. I especially love being able to learn without religiously imposed restrictions.

Please state WHY Pascal's Wager doesn't work. (I have a list myself but I'm doing the asking)

I have heard many bitter complaints (especially on these kind of sites) about how the ACLU is anti-christian...

But I just don't see it...

If you percieve not being allowed to force people to obey your religion as hatered or prejudice then yeah...

But I can think of a number of ways that the ACLU is helping Christians to maintain their civil right to practice their religion in the first place...

Isn't it kind of a narrow-minded slap in the face to the ACLU?

What makes them so sure that allowing people freedom to choose will make their religion die out?

Are they insecure about the quality of their faith?
Are these people afraid that if given an option, everyone would choose something else to believe in and move on?

Like that dumb song "...because the bible tells me so". A bunch of people wrote the bible, and it has their own opinions and views and stories in there, just because someone tells you something does not mean its real, and just because alot of people think something does not mean its real either. Anyways my question is, don't you think its dumb to believe something just because someone tells you something?

So lets say, hypotheticaly speaking, there is no God, and that Jesus Christ was just a nice guy, what do I gain by living like you and believing that there is no God?

But what if I'm right? And you lose everything in the end? Is living life 'your way' here on earth, worth lossing out on God's offer of eternal communion with Him in heaven?

I ask this because we all seem to think that we are right, but don't tend to see things from the other guys point of view, so honestly what do I gain by living and believing like you???
