I mean there are so many movies with Pentecostals and their churches and what they do there...
There are also movies with Mormons...

1.) funny speaking of "tongues", whatever it means
2.) yelling in church crazy things
3.) running in church like on the stadium, on the the Sunday divine service
4.) when they put the hand on the forehead of someone, that someone almost collapses, due to unknown reasons

Atheists - Do you say, "Hello, I am Sam and by the way I am an atheist. Oh, I am also a lawyer and I have a grown family?

Christians (or any others) - Do you say "Hi there, I am Rob, a Christian. Oh I am also a senator and I am engaged to be married?

Most people (other than a very few fundy Christians) DO NOT annouce their religious beliefs when they meet someone...so how is it that we get preached to, damned to hell, told about scientific theory, called stupid myth believers, etc.....in our everyday life?

For those of a Christian perspective. If the wages of sin is death and the soul that sin shall die, then how can babies die if they are quote "sinless"?

(I realize not all Christians believe that or come from that perspective, but for those who do)

My mother was also in the dream and I felt i knew this person with the third eye already and it had something to do with me of being pysic or knowledgeable and i felt it was telling me something with todays life.

I was Baptised as a child, pretty much because I guess my parents followed the religion and wanted me to follow in the same tradition. So they pretty much made a personal choice for me and as it turns out they made the wrong one. Cause I don't wish to be apart of a Religion I veiw to be screwed up and terrible for society. It really bothers the hell out of me that I've been Baptised, I don't want to have anything to do with this religion, even if God is real I really don't want to have anything to do with him.

So basically im saying im serious about this, I'm not trying to be a smartass. I'm just trying to see if there is some kind of ritual bullshit I can do to reverse this Baptism just incase God is real. I consider it extra insurance I wont have to deal with him/her/it in the future. I realize if God is real Im going to hell but I still want the reversal Baptism, because it bothers me now and Im still alive.

If the NT/bible is the source of absolute doctrine, which applies in all instances, then why do so many peope interpret it in so many different ways? Doesn't this render it useless?

The Constituion states that "ALL men are equal" and congress should not support any religions, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

But do Americans REALLY have that privilage? How do you feel on this issue as American citizens? Is your voice really heard when you go to public places or are you afraid to voice your opinion because you are afraid of getting put down. I know that there are many similar questions asked about this matter, but I am really confused. In one hand I see the majority of Muslims are hard-working peacful people, but on the other hand I see many verses in the Quran that order Muslims to KILL unbelievers and be HARSH to them.

One of the verses [4:89] read: "so take no friends from unbelievers until they flee submit to Islam. But if they turn renegades, seize them and KILL them wherever ye find them"

Does anyone have a logical explanation for the discrepancy?
