I was Baptised as a child, pretty much because I guess my parents followed the religion and wanted me to follow in the same tradition. So they pretty much made a personal choice for me and as it turns out they made the wrong one. Cause I don't wish to be apart of a Religion I veiw to be screwed up and terrible for society. It really bothers the hell out of me that I've been Baptised, I don't want to have anything to do with this religion, even if God is real I really don't want to have anything to do with him.

So basically im saying im serious about this, I'm not trying to be a smartass. I'm just trying to see if there is some kind of ritual bullshit I can do to reverse this Baptism just incase God is real. I consider it extra insurance I wont have to deal with him/her/it in the future. I realize if God is real Im going to hell but I still want the reversal Baptism, because it bothers me now and Im still alive.

Hi, I am afraid that Baptism is not reversable at all,and OneBunny is very wrong by saying that because you were a baby and didn`t have a voice in your baptism that it is void, infant baptism is the responsibility of parents and is legal and very binding.
I really think that you should just drop this whole notion and get on with your life, you don`t wear your baptism like a badge and if you do not mention it then no one else is likely to either.
However as things are constantly changing in life and all lives do change as we get older, you may well have cause to celebrate the fact that you are baptised.

Hello,

I hope I can answer your question.

Baptism is the first act of obedience when a person accepts Jesus as their Savior. That is the most important thing a person can do in their life, accepting Jesus as their Savior, in the Bible it states that , no man comes to the Father (God) except by Him. (Jesus). Baptism is an outward sign of an inward experience.

If you were a child and did not make a decision to become a part of God's family then your being baptized had no meaning what so ever. You could have been taking a bath or swimming in a pool. God looks on the heart and if it is just an outward show it has no meaning to God. And if this is the case you do not have to concern yourself at all about being baptized. It was not a real experience.

Hope this helped.
