As an atheist, I have found great joy in giving freely, more optimism in knowing there is no angry sky man looking over my shoulder, and more freedom to enjoy this life fully without guilt. I especially love being able to learn without religiously imposed restrictions.

How about you?

Freedom from superstition, tolerance and respect for everybody regardless of their beliefs and sexual orientations and sex, the ability to see things that are right in front of me and not deny or misinterpret their existence, a thorough understanding of science that will aid me throughout my life, dignity (I do not have to spend my life worshipping a god that may or may not exist), and yet humility (I know I am an animal, and, although I am an intelligent animal, I am not truly superior to other animals i.e. it's not like I have a soul and they don't and they were only put on this earth for my use and I'm always at the top of the food chain).

I'm not really sure what I am best defined as. I define myself as an atheist, but I'm not completely sure it is true. The positive affect that it is had on my life is that I no longer have to worry about what is planned for me. What is planned for me is what I achieve. If I don't achieve it then it obviously wasn't in my stars. I don't see where this idea of going against the will of God comes from. If there was a God and it didn't will something that thing wouldn't happen.

i'm open to actuality without prejudice or pre-ordained conclusions. I haven't any might desire to disclaim actuality to in high quality condition some historical rfile. loss of perception enables me the liberty to experience the wonderful thing bearing directly to the international without demeaning it as a creation yet particularly as a growth of innovations-blowing complexity. It would not go away me without ethical sense or without morality as some might choose and nor does it make me sense something yet pity for those blinded via a fastened and unchanging faith.

Intellectual integrity is at the top of the list. An ability to see all religions as equal. A capacity to develop a sense of wonder at the universe's grandeur without having to impose a deity between me and the observed universe.

I'm free from religious silliness.

I work hard, I play hard. I serve my self and my fellow humans. I don't have to bow, beg or bend before some hateful sky pixie. I'm free to enjoy my life.

I make the most of my life because this is it. There is not a pie in the sky reward for being self-punishing.

I'm free.

Edit: The sex is great too.

I have no fear of God. I can eat any kind of food I like. I don't have to go without food (fast) for no good reason. I can have great kinky sex with no guilt. I can date women if I want. I can think, read, say, wear, and watch what I like without fear that God is spying on me. The natural world makes sense to me. And when I die, that will be it. No heaven, no hell, no reincarnation, nothing. And I don't fear that at all.
