If evolution is false, I'll eat my shoe.

First of all the the Theory of Evolution and Creationism are not mutually exclusive of each other. Consider this: Both the Genesis account t of Creation and the progress of evolution according top the Theory of evolution is from simple to complex. In particular evolution is most obviously observed in the development of resistance of microorganisms to antibiotic or other medications. Selection can also be observed in environmental changes that favor one color phase of an animal or other creatures of the same species. This commonly occurs in moths and squirrels. Black squirrels are more common than gray squirrels in darker colored environments. The same is true of some moths, when there was a lot of soot around darker moths were more common, than with the cleaner air today.

It should be noted also that Caucasian people go to the beach to tan. The environment has an effect. It is possible that the darker races developed in response to light intensity. No one knows for sure. All the Bible says about it is found in Genesis 9:19 and Genesis 10th chapter, which relates to and chronicles the spread of the descendants of Noah over the whole earth after the Flood.

(There are some theologies that say that there were four sons of Noah (not three) and that is where the races came from).
I personally view this concept as acedemic specuation, as there is no answer to the question "Where did the races come from?" that I have ever found writen anywhere in the Bible.

And, so, if evolution is true how did people become different colors? I don't remember reading about just how evolution shows the cause. Somethings can't be explained and never will be.

You see that, in general, the races close to the equator, and in hotter environments are more dark skinned. You also see that the races with out as much direct contact to the sun have white skin, which is more susceptible to sunlight, so they receive more.

Sunlight is healthy, in the right proportions. In hot sunny environments, it was beneficial to have skin pigmentation that would protect you from sun damage. In the cooler environments, and ones with a lot of cloud cover, it was beneficial to be more susceptible to sunlight so that you would absorb more. Therefore, the genes that allowed for the optimal pigmentation ultimately prevailed, and became the majority.

It's like how the pupil in your eye grows larger and smaller depending on how much light there is. White skin is comparable to a larger pupil, to get more light. Dark skin is comparable to a small pupil, to not receive as much light, because the environment already has a lot of direct sunlight.

Evolution accounts for it all. Can the bible?

After the flood ,Noah and his three sons and their families spread out through the world. It is said Noah stayed around Crete .Ham settled in the area of Ethiopia. His son Cush was responsible for settling the area of Sudan.Mizraim founded Egypt. As time went on they adapted to their environment. As Japheth Noah's oter son moved through Europe ,the more north they went the lighter they got as the sun was not as well absorbed.Shem ,Noah's third, stayed in the Middle East and is a nice brown. There is evolution WITHIN a species just not from one species to another.

Race isn't covered, because it's not relevant to your salvation. Evolution promotes that everything came from nothing and in nature everything to comes from something. I can't think of one instance where and item just sprang from the ground.
I can honestly say that if my house blows up now and an entire universe sprang from the ashes, the Fire Marshall is still going to conduct a thorough search for the source. The big bang theory will not be an acceptable excuse.

It is because micro evolution is not false, that we have variations within our kind. Your skin color regardless of your ethnicity is melanin. How much melanin you have in you determines how dark or light your skin looks. Generally people in warmer climates have skin that produces more melanin, after awhile this trend develops into a standard and most people in said region will have darker skin. It works the same in cooler climates, just with the opposite effect.

How did we become different colours?
It is but variation on a theme.
Have you ever heard a song played one way by a certain group and then another group records it?
It sounds generally the same, but different in some ways.
Variation on a theme.

Evolution isn't false, obviously, but skin colour isn't evolution either. That is simply a local adaptation to environment.
